AIR COMPRESSOR WITH RAMPED HEAD DECK
An improved air compressor is provided. The air compressor includes a cylinder block having a head deck that defines a piston bore for reciprocal movement of a piston therein. The head deck further includes first and second ramped surfaces that slope downward toward the peripheral edge of the piston bore. A valve plate is in direct contact with the upper surface of the head deck, the valve plate having a leaf valve. During an intake stroke of the piston, the leaf valve deflects downward into direct engagement with the first and second ramped surfaces. Because the air compressor lacks a lower gasket between the valve plate and the head deck, the cost and assembly time associated with the lower gasket are eliminated.
Sound attenuation arrangement for an inverter cover of an electric compressor
A sound attenuation arrangement for an inverter cover of an electric compressor, which is characterised in that in addition to fasteners for the inverter cover on the compressor housing of the electric compressor, a sound attenuation means for reducing noise emission via the inverter cover is provided, where the sound attenuation means is made up of a screw with a screw head and a screw shaft, and in that on the screw head a damping element is arranged, where the screw is in contact via the screw shaft with the compressor body, and via the damping element arranged on the screw head with the inverter cover, in a manner that absorbs vibrations.
ECONOMIZER INJECTION IN A RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR
A compressor includes a cylinder block having a first bore and a cylinder head overlapping the cylinder block. The cylinder head has a second bore aligned with the first bore. The second bore is separated into a plurality of distinct regions including a suction region and an economizer region. A plurality of valves includes a suction valve selectively operable to fluidly couple the suction region and the first bore, and an economizer valve selectively operable to fluidly couple the economizer region and the first bore.
PACKING CASE FOR RECIPROCATING MACHINE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME
A packing case for a plunger or a piston rod of a reciprocating machine comprises packing cups, each packing cup comprising a body with a hole for the passage of the plunger or rod and a sealing ring seat for housing a sealing ring which slidably bear against the plunger or rod. Packing cups are aligned with each other in series. The packing case comprises lube oil ducts for supplying lube oil from an end of the packing case to the sealing ring seat. Each packing cup comprises sectors, each sector comprising at least lube oil duct portions. The packing cups are positionable to bring, one sector at a time in an activation position where some of the lube oil duct portions of the sector are connected with the lube oil duct portions of an adjacent packing cup to form lube oil ducts. The packing cups are lockable.
METHOD FOR DISPENSING A PRODUCT FROM A CONTAINER
A method for dispensing a product from an interior volume of a container to which a power assembly is secured, which includes rotating an actuator sleeve of the power assembly in one direction relative to the container to draw an amount of the product from the interior volume into a pump chamber and to pressurize the pump chamber, and temporarily depressing an actuator of the power assembly to dispense a portion of the product from the pump chamber through a nozzle for a duration of time during which the actuator is temporarily depressed. During the duration when the product is dispensed from the container, the power assembly does not rotate relative to the container, and the power assembly is never rotated in an opposite direction.
Hydraulic block for a hydraulic unit of a hydraulic vehicle power braking system
For rotary protection of an external force piston of a power brake pressure generator of a hydraulic vehicle power braking system, axially parallel rotary protection grooves are provided at a circumference of an external force cylinder bore in a hydraulic block of a hydraulic unit of the vehicle power braking system, and tabs of the external force piston protrude into the rotary protection grooves.
Inflation Device
An inflation device includes a cylinder, a piston assembly, a cap, a base assembly, a flow channel assembly, and an inflation assembly. The cylinder includes two compartments. The piston assembly includes two pistons capable of synchronous sliding movement in relation to the two compartments. The cap is mounted on the cylinder. The base assembly is mounted at the bottom of the cylinder. The flow channel assembly includes a flow channel unidirectionally connected with a space formed between the base assembly, one compartment, and one piston. The inflation assembly includes a nozzle connected with the flow channel and attachable to an inflatable object.
AIR COMPRESSOR PUMP WITH CONDENSING CHAMBER
An air compressor pump is provided, including a crankcase with an opening and a crankshaft extending out of the opening; a cover disposed over the opening in the crankcase; and a condensing chamber formed between the crankcase and the cover.
