Pump
A pump is provided with a pump housing, a vibrating portion, a driving portion, and a displacement regulating portion. The pump housing internally has a pump chamber. The vibrating portion is supported against the pump housing in the pump chamber and divides the pump chamber into a first pump chamber and a second pump chamber. The driving portion drives the vibrating portion so as to bend and vibrate the vibrating portion in a predetermined direction. The displacement regulating portion is positioned to prevent displacement of the vibrating portion that results in plastic deformation.
Pumping System
Provided is a pumping system that includes a parallel dual chamber pumping mechanism and an attachable disposable cassette. The disposable cassette includes a multi-laminate membrane which facilitates efficient, accurate and uniform delivery of fluids. The multi-laminate membrane is held in intimate contact with the pumping fingers of the pumping mechanism by electrostatic or magnetic attraction, thereby allowing the pump to pull a vacuum without the need for a preloaded elastomeric pumping segment.
CALIBRATION OF A PUMP
A pump for the transfer a predetermined total volume of fluid from a pump inlet to a pump outlet in a unit of time is calibrated by deriving a count of the number of times a volume of the fluid is transferred from a pump inlet to a pump outlet in a unit of time; and adjusting the number of times the volume is transferred in a unit of time until the derived count is substantially equal to a predetermined threshold value.
Pump for measuring pressure of fluid to be transferred, fluid transport system using the same, and method for operating the system
The present invention discloses a pump for measuring a pressure of fluid to be transferred, a fluid transport system using the same, and a method for operating the system. The pump includes a pumping portion alternately generating a positive pressure and a negative pressure; a first diaphragm which is provided on one side of the pumping portion and of which a shape is changed as the positive pressure and the negative pressure are alternately generated; a transport chamber which sucks and discharges a transport target fluid corresponding to the deformation of the first diaphragm; a second diaphragm which is provided on the other side of the pumping portion; a monitoring chamber which is provided on one side of the second diaphragm and of which a pressure changes corresponding to the deformation of the second diaphragm; and a pressure measuring portion measuring a pressure change of the monitoring chamber.

Wound treatment apparatuses and methods for controlled delivery of fluids to a wound
Pump cassettes, wound-treatment apparatuses and methods. In some embodiments, a pump cassette comprises: a pump body having a pump chamber, an inlet valve in fluid communication with the pump chamber, and an outlet valve in fluid communication with the pump chamber; a diaphragm coupled to the pump body such that the diaphragm is movable to vary a volume in the pump chamber; and an identifier configured to store one or more properties of the pump cassette such that the identifier is readable by an automated reader to determine the one or more properties. In some embodiments, the pump cassette is configured to be removably coupled to a wound-treatment apparatus having an actuator such that the actuator can be activated to move the diaphragm.

PUMP HAVING ELECTROACTIVE POLYMERS AND A RETURN ELEMENT
The present invention relates to a pump, comprising a pump actuator (2) having at least one electroactive polymer, as well as at least one return element (8, 9) which returns a displacement element (5) of the pump after a pump stroke to a defined position. The invention further relates to a metering unit and to a medical apparatus comprising such a pump.
PUMP CLOSURE
A diaphragm pump includes a pump head, a pump drive, a socket formed on the pump head configured to be releasably fixed to a mounting formed on the pump drive via a rotary closure, wherein the rotatory closure includes a securing device that includes a pushrod which is received in the mounting and is configured to be biased by a spring via a lever and engages in a positive-locking manner into a bore formed on the socket for locking.
