Method of operating a lubricating device, lubricating device and compressor with such a lubricating device

A lubricant supplying device includes a feed pump that serves to pump lubricant from a lubricant reservoir to at least one lubrication point. A method for operating the lubricant supplying device includes measuring at least one operating parameter, such as temperature (T), of at least one part of a system to be lubricated and/or of the lubricant and/or of the environment. The at least one measured operating parameter (T) is supplied to a controller, where a required volumetric flow ({dot over (V)}.sub.target) of lubricant is determined based on a stored functional relationship ({dot over (V)}.sub.target= (T)) that generates the required volumetric flow ({dot over (V)}.sub.target) based upon the measured operating parameter (T). The feed pump is then actuated in order to achieve the determined, required volumetric flow ({dot over (V)}.sub.target).

ELECTRIC DIAPHRAGM PUMP WITH OFFSET SLIDER CRANK

A diaphragm pump having a crankshaft that is rotatable about a rotational axis and coupled to a piston. The piston is reciprocally displaceable within a piston cylinder along an axis of motion between suction and discharge strokes. A diaphragm housing coupled to the piston cylinder at least partially defines a pumping chamber through which fluid is pumped as the piston reciprocates. The axis of motion, which intersects a connection between the piston and the connecting rod, may not intersect the rotational axis of the crankshaft such that, relative to an arrangement in which the axis of motion does intersect the rotational axis, a peak magnitude of piston side load forces during the discharge stroke is reduced and a peak magnitude of piston side load forces during the suction stroke is increased so as to attain an improved balance between the peak magnitudes of piston side load forces of the discharge and suction strokes.

Dual integrated pump having a first and second pump portion connected in series and driven by a common shaft

A pump includes a housing, a drive shaft, a centrifugal pump portion having an impeller, and a gear pump portion having first and second gears. The impeller and one of the first and second gears are mounted to the drive shaft to drive the centrifugal pump portion and the gear pump portion at the same rotational speed. The gear pump can be a crescent internal gear (CIG) pump. The drive shaft can be rotated by a magnetic drive. The drive shaft can include a longitudinal bore in fluid communication with a cavity in the magnetic drive and with a discharge of the centrifugal pump portion to circulate working fluid through the magnetic drive to cool the drive. An impeller can be coupled to an inlet of the centrifugal pump portion.

A pump-regulator combination includes first and second pumps, a control valve, first orifice, and pilot valve. The first pump is configured to pump fluid from a tank to a first point. The control valve is configured to control pressure and/or delivery flow at the first point by adjusting a displacement volume of the first pump. The second pump is configured to pump fluid from the tank to a second point, through the first orifice, and back to the tank. A highest load pressure of the actuator is connected to a third point. The pilot valve includes an adjustable second orifice connected to the third point, via a fourth point, and the tank to pass fluid from the actuator to the tank. A pressure at the second point acts to close the second orifice. A pressure of the fourth point acts to adjust the control valve.
