A variable displacement lubricant pump for providing a pressurized lubricant for an internal combustion engine includes a control ring configured to be shiftable, a pump rotor comprising a plurality of slidable vanes which are configured to rotate in the control ring, a hydraulic control chamber configured to directly actuate the control ring, a valve bore, and a temperature control valve configured to connect or disconnect the temperature control opening to an atmospheric pressure. The hydraulic control chamber comprises a side wall comprising a temperature control opening arranged therein. The temperature control valve comprises a switching strip which comprises a switching temperature. The switching strip is configured to be in an open position if a temperature is below the switching temperature, and to be in a closed position if the temperature is above the switching temperature so as to close the valve bore.
Rotary pump with discharge control
A positive displacement rotary fluid pump assembly includes a pump housing and a rotor supported within the housing for rotation about an axis offset with respect to a housing axis and including a plurality of chambers of increasing volume on an low pressure side of the pump and of decreasing volume on a high pressure side of the pump. A fluid inlet communicates with the plurality of the chambers of increasing volume for admitting fluid into the pump under a first low pressure, and a fluid outlet communicates with a plurality of the chambers of decreasing volume for selectively expelling fluid from the pump under a second higher pressure. At least one fluid control valve is operative to selectively close one or more of the chambers of decreasing volume from communication with the fluid outlet when the fluid pressure in such chambers is below the predetermined value and to open one or more other chambers of decreasing volume when the fluid pressure in such chambers is at or above the predetermined value.
Electric gerotor pump and method for producing same
An electrically driven gerotor pump has a gerotor which comprises a stationary outer gerotor element with an inner toothing that is axially delimited by two chamber walls, wherein each chamber-forming foot section of the inner toothing is paired with a pressure valve which is connected to the outlet. The gerotor also comprises an inner gerotor element with an outer toothing which is guided in the outer gerotor element in a circumferential manner on an eccentric section of the shaft and is mounted in, a rotatable manner so as to mesh with the inner toothing.
VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRICAL REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR
A valve assembly for an electrical refrigerant compressor of a motor vehicle, comprising: a flexurally elastic valve plate for the pressure-regulated opening and closing of an outlet opening of the refrigerant compressor; and a rigid stop plate for limiting the movement of the valve plate, the stop plate and the valve plate being in the form of a preassembled component.
ELECTRIC GEROTOR PUMP AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
An electrically driven gerotor pump has a gerotor which comprises a stationary outer gerotor element with an inner toothing that is axially delimited by two chamber walls, wherein each chamber-forming root section of the inner toothing is paired with a pressure valve which is connected to the outlet. The gerotor also comprises an inner gerotor element with an outer toothing which is guided in the outer gerotor element in a circumferential manner on an eccentric section of the shaft and is mounted in a rotatable manner so as to mesh with the inner toothing.
VAPOR INJECTION STRUCTURE FOR A COMPRESSOR
A scroll compressor including a compression mechanism assembled with a valve assembly disposed in a housing. The compression mechanism including a fixed scroll and an orbit scroll. The fixed scroll includes a recessed pocket having a first indentation with a first injection port and a second indentation with a second injection port. A double reed structure of the valve assembly is disposed in the recessed pocket of the fixed scroll. The double reed structure includes a first reed configured to selectively permit a flow of a fluid through the first injection port and a second reed configured to selectively permit a flow of a fluid through the second injection port. The valve assembly further includes a valve member disposed adjacent the reed structure and a valve gasket disposed between the valve member and a portion of the housing.

Pump and/or compressor arrangement including mating, oscillatable vane members for the simultaneous admission and discharge of fluid
The present invention relates to an apparatus for pumping or compressing a fluid, the apparatus characterized by a compression chamber including an inlet and outlet, opposed front and rear vane members disposed inside said compression chamber, each vane member including at least one axially extending vane segment and at least one radially disposed open segment adapted to receive a vane segment of the opposed vane member, wherein adjacent vane segments of mating vane members form radial compartments there between. The assembly further includes a swing arm assembly for effecting equal and opposite rotational oscillation of the front and rear vane members such that adjacent vane segments oscillate toward and away from one another simultaneously, thereby creating a bellowing effect which draws fluid into the chamber via the inlet and discharges fluid out of the chamber via the outlet. The invention further relates to an assembly for translating rotational motion of an input shaft to oscillatory motion of the vane members.
