The indents are distributed in the first wear surface or the second wear surface and at least two of the plurality of indents are partially aligned in a radial direction.
Nitrogen- and ceramic-surface-treated components for downhole motors and related methods
Downhole tools for earth-boring applications may include a component of a steel material and including a bore. An inner surface defining the bore may be treated with a surface treatment. The surface treatment may include a nitrided region having nitrogen diffused into the steel material and a ceramic material adjacent to the nitrided region; the ceramic material defining the inner surface. Methods of making downhole tools for earth-boring applications may involve exposing a component of the downhole tool to an elevated temperature to heat the component in a nitrogen-rich environment. Nitrogen may be diffused into a steel material of the component and a nitrided region may be formed at one or more surfaces of the component. A ceramic material may be coated on the nitrided region of the component.
Rotary vane pump
A rotary vane pump including a housing, and a motor. The motor includes a shaft which is coupled to a rotor. The rotor defines a plurality of slots. A plurality of free moving vanes are disposed within the slots. In one example, the rotor is formed from a first material and the plurality of vanes are formed from the first material and impregnated with a second material. The first material can be a carbon material. The second material can be a resin material, an antimony material, a copper material, or a silver material.
Fluid pump
An inner wall surface of a pump housing has a slide surface, which is opposite from a joint member and along which an inner rotor is slidable. This slide surface includes an external tooth slide surface and a main body slide surface. External teeth of the inner rotor are slidable along the external tooth slide surface, and a main body of the inner rotor is slidable along the main body slide surface. A surface roughness of the main body slide surface is higher than a surface roughness of the external tooth slide surface.
COMPRESSION DEVICE AND SCROLL COMPRESSOR USING SUCH A COMPRESSION DEVICE
A compression device includes at least: two interleaved scrolls each of which is made of an aluminum alloy, one of the scrolls, being a fixed scroll (3), and is fixed and the other scroll, which is an orbiting scroll and moves eccentrically without rotating. Also included are anti-rotation means made of an aluminum alloy and configured to allow anti-rotation of the orbiting scroll. The compression device also includes one flat thrust bearing configured to axially contain the orbiting scroll and is made of aluminum alloys or grades of cast iron. The compression device also includes coatings for promoting friction between the fixed scroll, the orbiting scroll, the anti-rotation means and the flat thrust bearing.
MUD MOTOR STATORS AND PUMPS AND METHOD OF MAKING
A mud motor stator or a pump comprising of a tubular outer portion; a number of lobes extending radially inwardly from the tubular outer portion, at least one of which comprises a skeletal structure and method for producing a mud motor stator or a pump comprising of placing material and bonding the material together in a pattern dictated by the design shape of the stator or pump.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING COMPRESSOR SCROLLS, COMPRESSOR SCROLL, AND SCROLL COMPRESSOR
A method for manufacturing a compressor scroll that appropriately impinges cavitation bubbles on target regions of a scroll. The method includes the step of water jet peening by jetting cavitation bubbles generated underwater by a water jet at a first side of an end plate (13A) of the scroll (13), with a center (P1, P2, P3) of the cavitation bubbles being offset from a center (O) of the spiral shape of a wall portion (13B) on the end plate (13A) and the step portion (13Aa) and the stepped portion (13Ba) positioned at an outer peripheral portion of the cavitation bubbles (C).
SEALING STRUCTURE AND SCROLL AIR COMPRESSOR HAVING SAME
Disclosed are a sealing structure and a scroll air compressor having the same. The sealing structure includes: an orbiting scroll including an orbiting scroll spiral tooth (11), the orbiting scroll spiral tooth (11) being provided with an orbiting scroll spiral tooth groove (12), an orbiting scroll wear-resistant sealing strip (30) being provided in the orbiting scroll spiral tooth groove (12); a stationary scroll including a stationary scroll spiral tooth (21) matched with the orbiting scroll spiral tooth (11), the stationary scroll spiral tooth (21) being provided with a stationary scroll spiral tooth groove (22), a stationary scroll wear-resistant sealing strip (40) is provided in the stationary scroll spiral tooth groove (22), the wear-resistant sealing strip (30) is divided into sections including a high-temperature and high-pressure section (30a) and a medium-temperature and medium-pressure section (30b). The sealing structure reduces costs of use and maintenance of the sealing strip; a buffer contact surface of the wear-resistant sealing strip (30) in contact with a scroll surface is flat, which improves performances of sealing and noise-reduction; a bottom surface of the wear-resistant sealing strip (30) is equipped with a sealing ring having a cross section in a shape of a circle or a circular tube, which improves the damping and buffering performances; thereby the performance of the air compressor is improved, and the use cost of the air compressor is also reduced.
