An electric pump provided with a pump unit configured to discharge working oil by being rotationally driven by an electric motor includes: a drive shaft configured to transmit rotational driving force from the electric motor to a rotor of the pump unit; a rotation-detection shaft provided coaxially with the drive shaft, the rotation-detection shaft being configured to be rotated together with the rotor; and a rotation detector unit configured to detect rotation of the rotation-detection shaft. The rotation-detection shaft has: an engagement portion configured to engage with the rotor; and a detection-target portion facing the rotation detector unit, and an outer diameter of the detection-target portion is set so as to be larger than an outer diameter of the engagement portion.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a refrigeration system that includes a compressor configured to circulate refrigerant along a refrigerant loop, a motor configured to drive the compressor, and a variable speed drive coupled to the motor and configured to supply power to the motor. The variable speed drive includes a primary winding of a step down transformer coupled to an alternating current (AC) power source, a first secondary winding of the step down transformer, where the first secondary winding is configured to supply power at a variable supplied voltage to the motor when the motor operates below a threshold voltage, and a second secondary winding of the step down transformer, where the second secondary winding is configured to supply power at a fixed supplied voltage when the motor operates at or above the threshold voltage.
Gas compressor and method for controlling same
A gas compressor includes inverters, a plurality of compressor units and a control device for controlling each of the inverters. The control device increases the number of compressor bodies to be operated after confirming that the rotational speed of the operational motors will reach a steady value immediately after causing the number of the compressor bodies to be operated to increase.

A linear actuator system includes a linear actuator and at least one proportional control valve and at least one pump connected to the linear actuator to provide fluid to operate the linear actuator. The at least one pump includes at least one fluid driver having a prime mover and a fluid displacement assembly to be driven by the prime mover such that fluid is transferred from the pump inlet to the pump outlet. The vacuum chamber is completely dried so as to prevent from internal emulsion.

The spiral valve includes an actuator module disposed adjacent an exterior of the compressor housing, the actuator module includes an electric motor, a gearbox mechanically coupled to the electric motor to transmit torque from the electric motor, a shutter coupled to the gearbox to rotate in response to a transmitted torque from the electric motor, wherein the shutter is positioned to open and close one or more of a plurality of bypass ports formed in the compressor housing based on the rotational position of the shutter, wherein the compression length of the screw compressor may be controlled by controlling the opening and closing of the one or more bypass ports.
Pump ripple pressure monitoring for incompressible fluid systems
Systems and methods are disclosed of monitoring performance of an incompressible fluid system. The system has a positive displacement pump and a high bandwidth pressure sensor. A method comprises sensing a pressure of the fluid with the pressure sensor, determining pump ripple frequency and hence the speed of the positive displacement pump, calculating the pump flow rate, determining a flow restriction of the fluid system based on the pressure and flow, and assessing or trending the fluid system flow restriction.
