VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT VANE PUMP WITH THERMO-COMPENSATION
20180010605 · 2018-01-11 ·

A variable displacement vane pump has a control slide displaceable within its housing and a first control chamber and a second control chamber for receiving pressurized lubricant. A thermally adjustable control valve is provided in the housing for adjusting pump displacement based on a temperature of the lubricant. In addition to fluid communication channels in the control chambers, at least one vent port is provided in the second chamber. The control valve is configured to control pressure and fluid communication between the chambers along with the control slide. The control valve can help reduce pump displacement at lower temperatures and low engine speeds. At lower temperatures, the second control chamber can be pressurized by the first control chamber. At higher temperatures, the second control chamber can be vented through the control valve and/or the vent port, despite the position of the control slide.

OPERATING METHOD FOR A CONVEYING DEVICE WITH AN ECCENTRIC SCREW PUMP FOR CONVEYING VISCOUS CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
20230235738 · 2023-07-27 ·

An operating method for a conveying device with an eccentric screw pump for conveying viscous construction materials comprising sensing a pressure of the construction material at an outlet of the eccentric screw pump when the eccentric screw pump is running and automatically switching off the eccentric screw pump if the pressure exceeds an upper limit value, otherwise continued operation of the eccentric screw pump. The method includes sensing a characteristic variable of the running eccentric screw pump and comparison of the characteristic variable with a first comparison variable, which is characteristic of operation with an open dispensing device and/or with a second comparison variable, which is characteristic of operation with a closed dispensing device, and switching off the eccentric screw pump if operation with a closed dispensing device is detected, otherwise continued operation of the eccentric screw pump.

A system includes a pump, an inlet sensor, an outlet sensor, and a controller. The pump is configured for pumping fluid in a phacoemulsification system. The inlet sensor is coupled with an inlet port of the pump and is configured to sense an inlet temperature of the fluid at the inlet port. The outlet sensor is coupled with an outlet port of the pump and is configured to sense an outlet temperature of the fluid at the outlet port. The controller is configured to take a responsive action based a difference between the inlet temperature and the outlet temperature crossing a defined threshold.

eTXV DIRECT DISCHARGE INJECTION COMPRESSOR
20220397316 · 2022-12-15 ·

A compressor operable in a heat pump mode of a refrigerant circuit includes a compression space in which a refrigerant is compressed. The compression space includes a discharge port and an injection port. A discharge chamber is fluidly coupled to the compression space by the discharge port. An injection chamber is fluidly coupled to the compression space by the injection port. A discharge recirculation pathway selectively provides fluid communication between the discharge chamber and the injection chamber. An injection of the recirculated refrigerant into the compression space through the injection port results in an increase in pressure, and hence temperature, of the refrigerant when discharged to the discharge chamber. The increased temperature of the discharged refrigerant increases a heating capacity of a condenser of the associated refrigerant circuit.

FLUID PUMP

A fluid pump with a housing, a fluid duct which is provided in the housing, a temperature sensor which is assigned to the fluid duct in order to detect the temperature of a medium situated therein, and a metal thermally conductive element.

Compressor having casing and temperature detector thereon

A compressor includes a compression mechanism, a casing, and a temperature detector. The compression mechanism includes a rotation axis. The casing accommodates the compression mechanism. The casing includes a compression mechanism contact portion. The compression mechanism is in contact with an inner surface of the compression mechanism contact portion. The temperature detector is attached to an outer surface of the compression mechanism contact portion and is configured to sense temperature of the compression mechanism contact portion.

Compressor floodback protection system

A climate-control system may include a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, a first sensor, a second sensor, a third sensor, and a control module. The compressor may include a motor and a compression mechanism. The condenser receives compressed working fluid from the compressor. The evaporator is in fluid communication with the compressor and disposed downstream of the condenser and upstream of the compressor. The first sensor may detect an electrical operating parameter of the motor. The second sensor may detect a discharge temperature of working fluid discharged by the compression mechanism. The third sensor may detect a suction temperature of working fluid between the evaporator and the compression mechanism. The control module is in communication with the first, second and third sensors and may determine whether a refrigerant floodback condition is occurring in the compressor based on data received from the first, second and third sensors.

The present disclosure provides a product removal apparatus, a treatment system, and a product removal method that can sufficiently remove the products deposited inside a vacuum pump and also suppress corrosion of the base material of the vacuum pump. The product removal apparatus of the present disclosure includes: a sensor for measuring the temperature of the inside of a vacuum pump, the thickness of a film of a product in a flow path in the vacuum pump, or the vibration frequency of the vacuum pump; a gas supplier for supplying a gas containing hydrogen halide, fluorine, chlorine, chlorine trifluoride, or fluorine radicals to the vacuum pump; and a control device. The control device controls the gas supplier so that the supply of the gas to the vacuum pump is stopped depending on a rate of temperature increase calculated from the temperature measured by the sensor, the film thickness, or the vibration frequency.
