An electric coolant pump (1) conveys cooling fluid in order to cool a combustion engine of a vehicle. The electric coolant pump (1) has a pump impeller (2) for accelerating the coolant to be conveyed, a rotor shaft (3) on which the pump impeller (2) is fixed, an electric motor (6), having a stator (8) and a rotor (7), for driving the rotor shaft (3). A control circuit (13) controls the electric motor (6). A pump housing (10) accommodates at least the control circuit (13) and the electric motor (6). The coolant to be conveyed is able to flow through the pump housing (10). The coolant to be conveyed thereby flows around the stator (8), the rotor (6) and the control circuit (13).

Method for assembling a water pump

Method to assemble a water pump with an impeller driven by an electrical machine comprising a housing cap and a volute with an inlet and an outlet and a boot hosting a stator and a rotor of the electrical machine and an electronic board mounted at the side apart from the impeller and covered by the cap housing, the boot having a radial extending rim comprising at least slots defined by the following steps: connecting the volute to the boot by inserting axial hooks in the boot's slots, twisting the volute versus the boot to fix the axial hooks, inserting radial hooks of the cap housing in the same slots.

Slim pump

A slim pump according to the present invention includes a frame, a shaft-coupling portion, a stator, and an impeller. The frame includes an interior separated by a partitioning board into a first chamber and a second chamber. A flow inlet intercommunicates with the first chamber and a flow outlet intercommunicates with the second chamber. The first chamber is intercommunicated with the second chamber via a communication hole of the partitioning board. The shaft-coupling portion is located in the frame. The stator is disposed around the shaft-coupling portion and is located within an axial extent of the first chamber. The stator is axially aligned with the communication hole. The impeller includes a plurality of blades and an inlet opening located in the second chamber. The inlet opening faces and axially aligns with the communication hole.

Subsea pressure booster

Subsea turbomachine for boosting the pressure of petroleum fluid flow from subsea petroleum productions wells or systems, comprising an electric motor and a compressor or pump driven by the electric motor, a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, distinctive that the turbomachine comprises a pressure housing common for the electric motor or stator, and compressor, pump or rotor; a magnetic gear inside the common pressure housing for operative connection between the motor or stator and compressor, pump or rotor; and a partition inside the common pressure housing, arranged so as to separate a motor or stator compartment from a compressor, pump or rotor compartment.

THERMISTOR FLOW PATH

A fluid pump includes a pump element in communication with an inlet and an outlet. Rotation of the pump element generates a suction at the inlet and pressure at the outlet. The suction and pressure cooperate to move a fluid through a fluid path. An accessory fluid path is in communication with the inlet and outlet. The accessory fluid path includes a thermistor in communication with the accessory fluid path. The thermistor monitors a temperature of the fluid within the accessory fluid path.

SUBSEA PROCESS LUBRICATED WATER INJECTION PUMP

A subsea water injection pump includes components that are cooled and lubricated by the process fluid. The pump includes opposing stages of impellers in a “back-to-back” arrangement such that the axial forces of the impeller stages partially or nearly fully offset each other. In some cases, a combination of barrier fluid and process fluid is used for lubrication and cooling.

Pump device

A pump device, in particular an immersible pump device, includes at least one heat exchanger unit which is in at least one operation state configured for a heat exchange between a cooling fluid and a liquid that is to be pumped and which includes at least one cooling duct and at least one shaft receptacle having an axial direction, wherein a cross section surface area of the cooling duct changes by maximally 200% at least over a major portion of a course of the cooling duct.

BIDIRECTIONAL PISTON SEALS WITH PRESSURE COMPENSATION

An electric submersible pumping system for use in pumping fluids from a wellbore includes a motor, a pump driven by the motor, and a fluid expansion module connected to the motor. The fluid expansion module includes a piston seal housing and a piston assembly contained within the piston seal housing. The piston assembly includes a piston body having an exterior surface, a plurality of seals connected to the exterior surface of the piston body and a pressure equalization system. The pressure equalization system reduces a pressure differential between fluid in an annular space between the plurality of seals and fluid surrounding the first piston assembly.
