BLOWER
The present invention relates to a blower, the blower according to an embodiment of the present invention comprising: a lower case having a suction hole formed therein through which air is introduced; an upper case arranged on the upper side of the lower case and having a discharge hole formed therein through which air is discharged; and a fan arranged in the lower case and including a plurality of blades. Each of the plurality of blades includes a plurality of airfoils respectively extending along different camber lines from one another, and a leading edge of connecting the leading ends of the plurality of airfoils. Entrance angles formed by the respective camber lines of the plurality of airfoils and the rotation directions of the blades are different from one another. Thus, due to the curved shape of the leading edge and the design of a recessed notch, a flow separating from the leading edge is reduced, and thus, there is an advantage in that air volume performance is improved.
IMPELLER, MULTI-BLADE FAN, AND AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
An impeller includes a main plate, an annular side plate and blades. The blades each have: an inner circumferential end; an outer circumferential end; a sirocco blade portion formed as a forward-swept blade portion, and having an outlet angle that is greater than 90 degrees; and a turbo blade portion formed as a swept-back blade portion and including the inner circumferential end. The blades include a first blade portion and a second blade portion that are provided on respective sides of the main plate. The impeller including a region in which a first inter-blade distance is greater than a second inter-blade distance, where an inlet-blade distance is a distance between any adjacent two of the blades in the circumferential direction, the first inter-blade distance is the inter-blade distance of the first blade portion, and the second inter-blade distance is the inter-blade distance of the second blade portion.
BLOWER
The present invention relates to a blower. A blower according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a lower case having a suction hole in through which air flow; an upper case which is disposed at the upper side of the lower case and which has a discharge port through which the air is discharged; a fan motor for providing rotating force; and a fan disposed inside the lower case and fixed to a motor shaft of the fan motor, wherein the fan includes: a hub having an outer surface, which is extended to be inclined at a first angle with respect to the motor shaft; a plurality of blades coupled to the hub; and a shroud having an inner surface which is extended to be inclined, with respect to the motor shaft, at a second angle that is greater than the first angle, and which faces the outer surface of the hub with respect to the blade, and thus the air discharged from the fan can change into an ascending current.
IMPELLER, CENTRIFUGAL FAN, AND AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
An impeller includes: a main plate to be rotated; an annular side plate having a suction port for air; and blades in a circumferential direction. Each of the blades has: an inner peripheral end; an outer peripheral end; a sirocco blade portion that includes the outer peripheral end, and forms a forward-swept blade; and a turbo blade portion that includes the inner peripheral end and forms a swept-back blade. The blade has an end portion facing the suction port and a base portion connected to the main plate, and the end portion has a smaller thickness than that of the base portion in the sirocco blade portion. The end portion of the blade has a blade shape, and in the end portion having the blade shape, a first blade thickness of an inner circumferential side of the impeller is greater than a second blade thickness of the outer circumferential side.
Bladeless fan with multiple air ducts
A bladeless fan with multiple air ducts is disclosed. The bladeless fan has a fan housing, a control system arranged in the fan housing, a blower system connected with the control system, an intermediate air duct communicating with the blower system and a rotation component connected with the control system. The intermediate air duct is provided with a side air duct at its both sides, the rotation component is connected with the side air duct to drive the side air duct to fold and unfold with the intermediate air duct as a center shaft. The side air duct is driven by the rotation component to fold and unfold with the intermediate air duct as a center shaft. The fold and unfold of the side air duct can achieve different effects, satisfy the user's requirement and improve the user experience.
ROTOR HAVING A PLURALITY OF SPIRAL PATHWAYS TO PASS LIQUID OR GAS THERETHROUGH TO INCREASE POWER THEREOF
A rotor having spiral pathways to enable liquid or gas to flow from a center to an exterior thereof. The spiral pathways increases power generated (input force) as liquid/gas travels therethrough. The spiral pathway rotor includes an inner disk and an outer disk. Inner disk includes a central opening for receiving the liquid/gas and is connected to a plurality of pathways that extend toward an outer edge in a spiral manner. Nozzles may be utilized to expel the liquid/gas. Outer disk includes an open interior having a plurality of teeth formed on an interior surface. The teeth are configured to receive the liquid/gas expelled from inner disk which causes the rotor to rotate and thus increases the input force thereof. The input force is amplified to an output force on a shaft connected thereto.
DIFFUSER PIPE WITH EXIT FLARE
A diffuser pipe has a tubular body defining a pipe center axis extending therethrough. The tubular body includes a first portion extending in a generally radial direction from an inlet of the tubular body, a second portion extending in a generally axial direction and terminating at a pipe outlet, and a bend portion fluidly linking the first portion and the second portion. The tubular body has a length defined between the inlet and the pipe outlet. The tubular body has cross-sectional profiles defined in a plane normal to the pipe center axis. An area of the cross-sectional profile at the pipe outlet is at least 20% greater than an area of the cross-sectional profile at a point upstream from the pipe outlet a distance corresponding to 10% of the length of the tubular body.
VISCOUS FLOW BLOWER FOR THERMAL MANAGEMENT OF AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Fan assemblies included within a computing device are described herein. The computing device includes a housing, a heat generating component supported within the housing, and a fan assembly. The fan assembly is operable to move heat generated by the heat generating component out of the housing. The fan assembly is supported within the housing. The fan assembly includes a shaft and a plurality of discs positioned along and fixed to the shaft. The shaft and the plurality of discs are rotatable relative to the housing about an axis of rotation.
Centrifugal Pumps Having Anti-Air-Locking Features
A centrifugal pump for pumping fluid includes a volute having an upstream inlet that receives the fluid and a downstream outlet that discharges the fluid. An impeller is disposed in the volute and comprises a plurality of impeller vanes. The impeller is configured to rotate about an axis of rotation so that the plurality of impeller vanes accelerates the fluid radially outwardly from the upstream inlet to the downstream outlet. The impeller is further configured to discourage air-lock of the centrifugal pump by expelling air away from the upstream inlet as the impeller rotates about the axis of rotation.
