SAFEGUARD FOR FUEL PUMP
A fuel pump system has a start stage pump and a main stage pump. Fuel is supplied to the start stage pump at lower engine speeds. As the engine speed increases, the fuel system restricts fuel to the start stage pump via a pressure regulating valve and the main stage pump takes over. An electronically controlled shut-off valve limits the amount of fuel supplied to the pressure regulating valve and, hence, the start stage pump when closed to safeguard against operating the start stage pump at unsafe engine speeds.
PUMP-DRIVEN COOLANT FILLING DEVICE AND METHODS
A system for cooling a circuit component on an electronic device includes a closed-loop cooling circuit and a coolant filling device. The closed-loop cooling circuit includes a coolant block, a first pump and a radiator. The coolant filling device includes a container, a base and a second pump disposed inside the base. The coolant filling device is configured for attachment to the cooling circuit. In some embodiments, when the coolant filling device is attached to the cooling circuit, coolant may be circulated from the coolant filling device to the cooling circuit while the cooling circuit circulates coolant. In further embodiments, when the coolant filling device is attached to the cooling circuit, coolant may be circulated from the coolant filling device to the cooling circuit while the electronic device remains powered on.
Levering device
A levering device includes a coupling block, a gripper, an operating rod, and a constraint sleeve. The coupling block includes a coupling chamber, two guide slots in communication with the coupling chamber, an extension rod, and an axial hole axially cut through the extension rod in communication with the coupling chamber. The operating rod being axially movably inserted through the axial hole into a bearing chamber of a housing of a motor-driven water lifting device to stop against respective one end of a wheel axle of the motor-driven water lifting device. The gripper is attachable to the two guide slots of the coupling block and includes two gripper blocks and two claw bars respectively connected to the gripper blocks. The constraint sleeve is sleeved onto the coupling block to stop the two claw bars in the respective the guide slots.
SIDE-CHANNEL MACHINE (COMPRESSOR, VACUUM PUMP OR BLOWER) HAVING AN EXTRACTION DUCT IN THE STRIPPER
The invention relates to a side-channel machine having a housing (4a), located in the housing (4a) a side-channel (28) for guiding a gas, and at least one gas inlet opening (34) which is formed in the housing (4a) and is fluidically connected to the side-channel (28). Furthermore, the side-channel machine has at least one gas inlet pipe (29a) which connects to the at least one gas inlet opening (34), The side-channel machine further comprises at least one gas outlet opening (33) and at least one gas outlet pipe (31a) which connects to the at least one gas outlet opening (33). Furthermore, the side-channel machine has an impeller that can be made to rotate in the housing (4a), with impeller blades, which bound impeller cells arranged in the side-channel (28), for delivering the gas in the impeller cells from the at least one gas inlet opening (34) to the at least one gas outlet opening (33). The side-channel machine further has at least one interrupter (39) arranged between the at least one gas inlet opening (34) and the at least one gas outlet opening (33).

A side-channel compressor (1) for a fuel cell system (37) for conveying and/or compressing a gas, in particular hydrogen, having a housing (3), having a compressor chamber (30) which is situated in the housing (3) and which has two encircling side channels (19, 21), having a compressor impeller (2) which is situated in the housing (3) and which is arranged so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation (4), wherein the compressor impeller (2) has conveying cells (28) arranged at the circumference thereof and in the region of the compressor chamber (30), and having in each case one gas inlet opening (14) formed on the housing (3) and one gas outlet opening (16), which openings are fluidically connected to one another via the compressor chamber (30), in particular the two side channels (19, 21), and wherein, in the region of the compressor chamber (30), an encapsulation of the respective side channel (19, 21) is realized by at least one separation region (35) by means of a surface pairing of the compressor wheel (2) and of the housing (3). According to the invention, here, the at least one separation region (35) is formed by a surface pairing of the components compressor impeller (2) and housing (3) such that the respective one component has encircling edges (5), in particular with encircling tips (11), and the respective other component has an encircling, at least approximately planar counterpart surface (23).
HYDRATION SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREOF
A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A kit for forming a fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed, as are various components of a hydration system.
Aircraft engine fuel system and method
A liquid fuel system for an aircraft engine includes a first fuel supply conduit hydraulically connected to a fuel source, a second fuel supply conduit hydraulically connected to the engine, a fuel return conduit hydraulically connected to the second fuel supply conduit, and a fuel pump. The fuel pump has a main inlet hydraulically connected to the first fuel supply conduit, an outlet hydraulically connected to the second fuel supply conduit, and an intermediate inlet hydraulically connected to the fuel return conduit. The intermediate inlet is located between the main inlet and the outlet and in use has a pressure between the main inlet pressure and the outlet pressure. A method of supplying a liquid fuel to an aircraft engine is also described.
LEVERING DEVICE
A levering device includes a coupling block, a gripper, an operating rod, and a constraint sleeve. The coupling block includes a coupling chamber, two guide slots in communication with the coupling chamber, an extension rod, and an axial hole axially cut through the extension rod in communication with the coupling chamber. The operating rod being axially movably inserted through the axial hole into a bearing chamber of a housing of a motor-driven water lifting device to stop against respective one end of a wheel axle of the motor-driven water lifting device.
