Water pumping and distribution systems and louie pump assemblies
A pumping unit operable to pump water has a longitudinal pumping unit axis. A pump shaft engages shaft bearings in a pump shaft housing. A drain conduit includes a drain conduit inlet segment, a drain conduit ascending segment, and a drain conduit terminal segment. The drain conduit inlet segment has a longitudinal drain conduit axis disposed at an obtuse angle to the longitudinal pumping unit axis. The drain conduit ascending segment is disposed at an obtuse angle to the drain conduit inlet segment. The drain conduit terminal segment is disposed at an obtuse angle with respect to the drain conduit ascending segment and is disposed at a level above the shaft bearing. Accordingly, backflow water flowing through the drain conduit terminal segment, the drain conduit ascending segment and the drain conduit inlet segment, respectively, flows into the pump shaft housing to contact and cool the shaft bearing.

FLUID PUMP SYSTEMS
A multi-stage fluid pump system can include a first stage configured to provide a first pressure and a second stage configured to provide a second pressure. The pump system can be configured to prevent output of the second stage in a first stage mode such that only the first pressure is output from the first stage and second stage and to allow output of the second stage in a multi-stage mode such that there is a combined pressure output from the first stage and the second stage.
MOBILE PUMP SYSTEM PROVIDED WITH COUPLED MOTOR DRIVE FOR PUMPING WATER AND METHOD THEREFOR
The invention relates to a mobile pump system for pumping water and/or extinguishing agent and an associated method therefor. The mobile pump system comprises:
a frame for housing the pump system;
a booster pump arranged in the frame;
one or more submersible pumps arranged in the frame;
a booster pump motor drive configured to drive the booster pump;
a hydraulics motor drive configured to drive the one or more submersible pumps and wherein the hydraulics motor drive is configured to function as auxiliary drive for the booster pump; and
a coupling for coupling the booster pump to the hydraulics motor drive such that the hydraulics motor drive can function as auxiliary drive for the booster pump.
QUICK STARTUP DEVICE FOR CENTRIFUGAL PUMP
The present invention provides a quick startup device for a centrifugal pump. The device includes an upper self-priming chamber, a lower self-priming chamber, and an inlet pipe sequentially arranged from top to bottom. The upper self-priming chamber and the lower self-priming chamber are integrally mounted on the inlet pipe. A main shaft and a hexagonal partition member rotatably mounted on the main shaft are arranged on an axis of the upper self-priming chamber. A blade tip of each partition plate is closely attached to an inner wall surface of the upper self-priming chamber. Three identical accommodation grooves are provided on an inner side of the upper self-priming chamber. A spring and a separation baffle are arranged in each accommodation groove, an exhaust hole is provided on one side of each accommodation groove, and an air intake pipe is provided on the other side of each accommodation groove.

DEBRIS TRAP FOR CAPTURING DEBRIS FLOWING IN A STREAM OF LIQUID AND PRIMING ASSEMBLY FOR A PUMP
A debris trap for capturing debris flowing in a stream of liquid, the debris trap includes a housing, a fluid inlet channel in connection with a space in the housing, a fluid outlet channel in connection with the space, the fluid outlet channel comprising a fluid outlet port, a float member, a guide element configured to guide movement of the float member when a liquid level in the space changes when in use, a stopper in connection with the fluid outlet port configured to stop the movement of the float member when the liquid level in the space raises, the fluid outlet port which, when the float member is against the stopper, remains partially open and the float member, when brought against the stopper, form a fluid communication path with a reduced area, which restricts the size of the debris capable of flowing through the outlet port.

MODIFIED OIL PUMP FOR USE IN NON-OIL TRANSPORT
The disclosed invention improves on self-priming centrifugal pumps. The improvements facilitate ease of maintenance by allowing the vacuum pulley belt to be changed without the need to disassemble the centrifugal pump to access the vacuum pulley belt. Additionally, issues with float valves becoming restricted leading to loss of prime conditions can be corrected with a disclosed invention.
Electric priming pump device
An electric priming pump device detachably couples to a centrifugal water pump on the suction side of the water pump, for priming thereof. The device comprises an enclosure and a base, wherein the enclosure contains a rotary vane peripheral bypass vacuum motor which is pressed against the base to form an air-tight seal. The device generates a vacuum for priming through use of a rotary vane peripheral bypass vacuum motor, which can remove large volumes of air quickly. An opening in the base receives a check valve fitting to protect the motor from water and slows loss of vacuum pressure after use. Additionally, a cone shaped protective cover protects components in the device and provides space for branding or advertisement.
