Power Generating Roof Ventilation Device
A power generating roof ventilation device for venting a structure and generating an electrical current includes a tube, which is mountable to a roof of a structure so that the tube is in fluidic communication with an interior space of the structure. The tube extends from the roof. A generator is engaged to and is positioned within the tube so that a drive shaft of the generator extends from the tube. A plurality of blades is engaged to the drive shaft. The blades extract energy from air passing over the blades. The drive shaft is rotated and an electrical current is generated by the generator. Simultaneously, air is extracted from the interior space of the structure.
Modular tile, a functionalized batten, a pipe and a method for producing a pipe
A tile, preferably a roof tile (1), for collecting energy from kinetic, thermal and light sources. The tile comprises a housing (2) with at least one photovoltaic cell (3) for collecting energy from a light source and at least one thermal collector (4). The tile comprises at least one wind channel (5) with a wind turbine (6).
Wind Power Generator
A wind power generator includes an air exhaust unit, a generating unit, a rectifier, and a storage battery. The air exhaust unit includes a fan, a wind guide disk, and a base. The fan is provided with a bearing which is connected with a primary gear. A driven gear is connected with a transmission bearing and meshes with the primary gear. The generating unit includes a stator including a plurality of magnetic poles, and a rotor surrounding the stator and provided with a plurality of magnets. The rotor is connected with the transmission bearing. After the fan is rotated, the bearing drives the primary gear which drives the driven gear which drives the transmission bearing which drives and rotates the rotor.
Dual blade assembly propeller
Disclosed is a propeller having at least first and second blade assemblies located one above the other. Each of the blade assemblies has a plurality of blades that extend radially outward from a shaft. The shaft can be coupled to a suitable land, sea or air vehicle (e.g., a ship). The blades of the first blade assembly lie above and alternate out of phase with the blades of the second blade assembly. Each of the blades of the first and second blade assemblies slopes downwardly relative to the shaft such that the leading sides thereof are located lower along the shaft than the opposite trailing sides. The blades of the first blade assembly are aligned with respective ones of the blades of the second blade assembly to establish substantially continuous and long downwardly sloping surface areas capable of maximizing the propulsion force generated by the propeller.
EXHAUST ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM
An exhaust air energy recovery system configured for efficiently extracting energy from an exhaust stack of a building, duct, mine, server, or the like. The system includes an exhaust stack through which exhaust air moves and a turbine assembly connected to the exhaust stack by one or more legs. The turbine assembly is configured to generate energy from the exhaust air, and the turbine assembly includes a generator configured to convert energy based on the exhaust air; a turbine rotor connected to the generator; and a hub portion interposed between the generator and the lower blade plate.
A MODULAR TILE, A FUNCTIONALIZED BATTEN, A PIPE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PIPE
WIND TURBINE WITH ROTATIONAL AXIS PERPENDICULAR TO THE WIND FLOW
The invention described herein pertains to a housing for a vertical-axis wind turbine, a vertical-axis wind turbine, and an apparatus comprising a housing and a vertical-axis wind turbine. For example, the disclosure below provides more efficient electricity generation from a vertical-axis wind turbine assembly. Increases in efficiency may be achieved by the housing through novel angled louvres and integrally housed electrical stators. Increases in efficiency may also be achieved through a magnetic spindle bearing and Savonius blade geometry. The turbine may be sized and configured for attachment to existing structures.
INDUSTRIAL VOC PROCESSING SYSTEM
The present invention provides a system for processing VOC passing through a pipe structure. The pipe structure includes one or more stackable sections for heating decomposition of VOC molecules in the exhaust that passes through the sections and a self-powered cap assembly coupled to the outlet end of the pipe structure. The cap assembly includes a wind turbine mechanically coupled to a generator that supplies electricity to an electronic assembly and to the electrothermal converter in each of the heat decomposition sections. The heat decomposition section includes a paraboloidal heating dish which is coaxially fixed in a cylindric structure with its opening end facing the cap assembly. The electrothermal converter is placed in the focus of the paraboloidal dish. The exhaust gas that passes through the heating decomposition section rotates the turbine that further drives the generator through a shaft. The electricity from the generator activates the electrothermal converter that converts electrical energy into heat energy. The paraboloidal dish reflects the heat from the converter forward into the internal space of cylindric structure. The VOC molecules are decomposed under the high temperature within the cylinder. The system also includes an electronic detecting device and a wireless interface that transmits the VOC data collected by the detecting device to a computer.
