A system for converting wave energy into electricity is provided. The system includes a wave energy mechanical interface, a power take off coupled with the wave energy mechanical interface, and a generator coupled with the power take off. A controller is coupled with the power take off. The controller is configured to regulate impedance of energy transferred from the power take off to the generator.

Hydrokinetic Telescopic Turbine Device
20220403815 · 2022-12-22 ·

The telescopic hydrokinetic turbine system is a device meant for lifting the burden of manufacturing, installing, and maintaining hydrokinetic systems in the water. The device attempts to overcome the issues faced by present day hydrokinetic systems. To accomplish this, the device includes a light weight and easy to carry and install design, a telescopic pillar to align itself with the tide direction or even to leave the body of water for maintenance. Electrical parts are not submerged but instead remain onshore in a small cabin or housing. Further, by adding the use of multiple diffusers, the water flowing into the turbine is made smoother and the overload of water is able to be evacuated and swiped by the fins. The diffusers increase the blades working capacity while homogenizing the water flow and avoiding the phenomena of vibrations and cavitation, thereby increasing efficiency.

HYDRODYNAMIC POWER GENERATOR AND SYSTEM

This disclosure is directed to hydrodynamic electric generators, including their structural design, methods of deployment, anchoring systems, drive systems and control systems. The system can be scaled from ones that can be hand carried to large, stationary devices that can generate up to and greater than 20 kw in a current of 3 knots. In a stationary system, the device can be anchored to an underwater floor by an anchoring device supported by four adjustable legs. These legs can eliminate the need for extensive mooring lines, providing the device with a small footprint that is non-hazardous to marine animals or vegetation. Individual components, such as rotors, generators and other mechanical components can be modularly installed for easy removal and servicing without having to disturb the entire system.

ARTICULATED-WING POWER GENERATION
20220372949 · 2022-11-24 ·

An energy generation system to generate energy from a fluid flow, the energy generation system including an extendable arm that extends into a fluid flow, a fin connected to one end of the extendable arm and causing, due to the fluid flow, the extendable arm to move from a first orientation within the fluid flow to a second orientation within the fluid flow, and a joint connected to a second end of the extendable arm that couples the extendable arm to an energy generator.

FOOD COOLING ASSEMBLY
20170241439 · 2017-08-24 ·

A food cooling assembly includes a base has a top side, a bottom side and an outer perimeter edge. A mount is attached to and extends upwardly from the base. A fan is attached to the mount such that the fan is positioned over and directed downwardly toward the base. An actuator is mounted on the mount and is in electrically coupled to the fan. The actuator is actuated to an on position to turn on the fan or an off position to turn off the fan. A power supply is in electrical communication with the actuator and the fan to supply electrical power to the fan when the actuator is placed in the on position. The fan blows air downwardly on food positioned below the fan to cool the food.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TELESCOPING WIND TURBINE TOWER STRUCTURE

A method for manufacturing a tower structure of a wind turbine includes printing, via an additive printing device, a plurality of concentric sections of the tower structure of the wind turbine. The concentric sections may be printed simultaneously from concrete, may include tensioning cables or other structural supports, and may define other support flanges or overhangs. After curing, the method may include raising an inner section of the plurality of concentric sections to a top of an adjacent outer section and joining the two sections. This process may be repeated to telescope the concentric sections and raise the tower structure.

Portable river turbine system
11313341 · 2022-04-26 ·

The portable river turbine system is a small-scale electricity generator whereby boaters, fishers, or other individual entities can use the current of a river or other body of water to power or charge small electronic devices such as phones, lights, or radios. The detachable propeller or wheel is attached at one end of the waterproof turbine housing. The turbine can be secured by the side bolting, by the vertical hook, or optionally by both. Said vertical hook has a telescopic expandable shaft, allowing for the shaft to be the optimal length to best submerge the turbine wheel or propeller and still attach to a boat, dock, or other surface above the water's level. Stationed on the top of the waterproof turbine housing are quick connections that can be used for wires and handles.

A Method for Installing an Offshore Wind Turbine and a Substructure for an Offshore Wind Turbine

A method of installing an offshore wind turbine includes the step of raising a full-length tower for the offshore wind turbine by moving it longitudinally from a container in a substructure, the substructure being a support structure for the wind turbine, wherein the substructure is arranged with a container configured for housing a tower for the wind turbine substantially in its entirety.
