AIR CIRCULATOR WITH VEIN CONTROL SYSTEM

The present invention is related in general to air circulators, and in particular, to an air circulator with a vein control system to direct and adjust airflow patterns. According to an exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides adjustable, vertical veins that are attached to the outlet of a tower fan. According to a preferred embodiment, the veins are pivotally mounted in such a way that by turning a knob, the veins can either he directed into a focused air-flow pattern or adjusted to a divergent air-flow pattern, or at any setting in between.

WIND TURBINE
20180010578 · 2018-01-11 ·

A wind turbine, including a hub, a blade, a blade bearing which is connected to the hub and which enables a rotational movement of the blade relative to the hub, and an adjustment device for adjusting a pitch angle of the blade, wherein the adjustment device includes at least one actuator and wherein an effective direction of an adjustment force of the at least one actuator when adjusting the pitch angle of the blade is tilted in an angle relative to a bearing plane of the blade bearing. One advantage of the wind turbine is that the adjustment force for adjusting the pitch angle is transmitted directly into the blade bearing or the bearing plane. Further, an offset of the attacking point of the adjustment force can be reduced or completely avoided.

A fluid cylinder for a reciprocating pump includes a body having inlet, outlet, and plunger bores. The inlet and outlet bores extend coaxially along a fluid passage axis. The plunger bore extends along a plunger bore axis that extends at an angle relative to the fluid passage axis. The body includes a crossbore at the intersection of the fluid passage axis and the plunger bore axis. The crossbore intersects the inlet, outlet, and plunger bores at respective inlet, outlet, and plunger bore ends. The inlet bore end and outlet bore ends are connected to the plunger bore end at respective first and second corners of the crossbore. The first corner includes a first linear bridge segment connected to the inlet and plunger bore ends by corresponding curved segments. The second corner includes a second linear bridge segment connected to the outlet and plunger bore ends by corresponding curved segments.
