Water pump
In a water pump, a water reservoir portion into which cooling water leaking from between a bearing portion and a rotating shaft flows via an introduction hole is divided into a first division portion and a second division portion by a gasket. The first division portion and the second division portion communicate with each other through a communication hole formed in the gasket. The second division portion includes a drain hole through which cooling water is discharged to outside.
Shaft Seal
A shaft seal for an exhaust fan. The seal limits leakage from within an exhaust fan housing around an exhaust fan drive shaft that extends between a rotational power source exterior to the exhaust fan housing and a position within the exhaust fan housing. The seal comprises a plenum generally positioned about the exhaust fan drive shaft at the point where the shaft extends into the fan housing; an auxiliary blower comprising a housing, an internal blade driven by an auxiliary blower drive shaft, and an auxiliary blower drive to rotate the drive shaft where the auxiliary blower drive is operatively associated with the rotational power source such that operation of the rotational power sources causes a rotation of the exhaust fan drive shaft and the auxiliary blower drive shaft; and a duct fluidly connecting the auxiliary blower housing to the plenum.
Nacelle having liquid retaining properties
Provided is a nacelle for a wind driven power plant, the nacelle including a nacelle bottom cover, wherein the nacelle bottom cover includes two or more segments, each of the segments being configured to contain a respective predefined maximum volume of a liquid in a receptacle in a case of leakage, and wherein the respective receptacles are configured to collectively contain a total volume that corresponds to a total amount of liquids in the wind driven power plant, in particular a total amount of lubricating oils and/or cooling liquids in the wind driven power plant. Also provided is a wind driven power plant including the nacelle and a wind park including a plurality of the wind driven power plants.
Water pump
A water pump includes a mechanical seal provided between a housing and a rotary shaft for preventing cooling water from leaking from a whirl chamber. The housing forms a space into which cooling water leaked from between the mechanical seal and the rotary shaft is flown and a water vent for discharging cooling water flown into the space. The housing is joined with a thermostat cover to form a reservoir communicating with the water vent. The reservoir has a drain for releasing evaporated cooling water to the air and a control wall for preventing cooling water remaining as liquid from flowing out through the drain.
Bearing arrangement for a wind turbine and wind turbine
A bearing arrangement for a wind turbine including a bearing housing and a drive shaft, whereby the drive shaft is arranged within the bearing housing in an axial direction along a longitudinal axis of the bearing housing, the bearing arrangement further comprising a downwind bearing and an upwind bearing as radial fluid bearings, whereby the downwind bearing and the upwind bearing are arranged between the bearing housing and the drive shaft is provided. The downwind bearing and/or the upwind bearing includes a lubricant flooded chamber, in which multiple radial bearing pads are arranged about the drive shaft, whereby the lubricant flooded chamber is sealed against the drive shaft, an internal space of the bearing housing and an outside of the bearing housing is also provided.
Electric water pump motor casing
A water pump has a pump section having radial impeller blades, a rotational shaft for rotating the radial impeller blades, and a motor section provided in the rear of the pump section and driving the rotational shaft. The motor section has a motor casing, a motor housed in the motor casing and rotating the rotational shaft, bearings provided on both sides of the motor interposed between them on the rotational shaft, interposed between an inner surface of the motor casing and the rotational shaft, and rotatably supporting the rotational shaft. In the motor casing, a vent hole for venting air between a motor space in which the motor is disposed in the motor casing and an outside of the motor casing is formed.
Water pump
A water pump that minimizes defects in which cooling water flows externally is provided. The water pump is provided with a rotating shaft supported by a body via a bearing, an impeller that is disposed at one end of the rotating shaft, and a seal member that is disposed between the impeller and the bearing. A drain passage that sandwiches the seal member and communicates with a space formed on the opposite side of the impeller is formed in the body, and a reservoir is formed downstream from the drain passage. At an upper position of a wall portion that forms the reservoir, a drain hole is formed, and a water-absorbing planar member is positioned in the reservoir.
Bearing arrangement for a wind turbine and wind turbine
Provided is a bearing arrangement for a wind turbine including a bearing housing and a drive shaft, whereby the drive shaft is arranged within the bearing housing in an axial direction along a longitudinal axis of the bearing housing. The bearing arrangement further includes a downwind bearing and an upwind bearing, whereby the downwind bearing and the upwind bearing are arranged between the bearing housing and the drive shaft. The bearing housing includes a drain outlet arranged in a bottom part of the bearing housing, the bottom part of the bearing housing being located underneath the drive shaft in a direction of gravity, whereby at least one inner side of the bottom part of the bearing housing is arranged so as to form a funnel, whereby the drain outlet is an opening of the formed funnel.

A pump is provided which includes a pump housing, a drive shaft rotatably installed in the pump housing through a ball bearing, a pulley integrally connected to one end of the drive shaft through a flange wall, an impeller connected to the other end of the drive shaft, a cylindrical base part integrally connected to an outer periphery of the flange wall and six through openings formed in an outer peripheral part of the flange wall, in which each of the through openings has, at a generally middle part of a bottom surface of an inner surface thereof, a pathway groove that extends substantially along an inner cylindrical surface of the cylindrical base part, so that the performance of discharging water, dust and the like from the through openings formed in the flange wall is increased.

The invention concerns a hydraulic turbine comprising blades (2) fixed to a runner crown (12) and to be actuated in rotation around an axis of rotation, each blade being comprised between a leading edge (8) and a trailing edge (10), a stationary head cover (14) and a chamber (16) being located between said runner crown (12) and said head cover (14) or within the head cover, said runner further comprising: means (22) forming at least one passage for water between said chamber and a chamber (28) in the runner tip; an upper portion (12.sub.1) and a lower portion (12.sub.2) of the said runner crown, said upper portion (12.sub.1) having a larger diameter than said lower portion (12.sub.2) so as to define a channel (24) between them, said channel leading to an exhaust volume (3) of the runner.
