The annular body has a first side comprising a first contact surface configured to engage a partition plate and a second side a second contact surface configured to engage a floating seal assembly. The first contact surface defines a slope between first and second radial locations. The axial projection extends from the annular body and can be received in a second centrally-disposed opening of the partition plate. The insert component can fluidly seal both a first interface between the first contact surface and the partition plate and a second interface between the second contact surface and a floating seal assembly during operation of the scroll compressor.

A driveline configured to connect a wind turbine rotor and a wind turbine generator has a planetary gear unit having a planet carrier rotatably supported relative to a housing part by at least one rolling-element bearing. The rolling-element bearing includes at least one inner ring and least one outer ring, and a plurality of rolling elements are disposed between the at least one inner ring and the at least one outer ring. The rolling element bearing further includes a spacer element disposed between adjacent pairs of the plurality of rolling elements, the spacer elements each having first and second running surfaces for guiding first and second ones of the plurality of rolling elements, and, apart from the spacer elements, a region between the bearing rings includes no cage elements.

Stator-side member and vacuum pump
The invention provides a stator-side member which is arranged in a vacuum pump and which, without the provision of a heat insulation material, prevents the deposition of products at the lower side of a threaded groove pump unit, with this lower side being an area of high pressure where the deposition of products (deposits) occurs easily, and also provides a vacuum pump equipped with this stator-side member. A threaded groove spacer configured to have a coefficient of thermal conductivity lower than a predetermined value is arranged in a vacuum pump equipped with a threaded groove pump unit. (1) The threaded groove spacer is manufactured from a material having a coefficient of thermal conductivity lower than that of a member which opposes or comes into contact with the threaded groove spacer. Specifically, this material has a coefficient of thermal conductivity lower than that of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and is preferably any one of stainless steel, fiber-reinforced plastic, polyetherimide, and polyetheretherketone. (2) The threaded groove spacer is constituted by at least two or more parts.

A compressor wheel that can be employed in devices such as turbochargers. The compressor wheel includes an axially extending hub having an inlet end, a shaft bore extending from the inlet end and an arcuate outer surface opposed to the shaft bore. The axially extending hub is composed of a metal and has a porous region located proximate to the arcuate outer surface of the axially extending hub. The compressor wheel also includes a blade array disposed on the arcuate outer surface of the axially extending hub. The blade array has an outer surface and an inner region. The blade array comprises a plurality of circumferentially-spaced, radially and axially extending blades disposed thereon and is composed, at least in part of a polymeric material. Polymeric material located in the inner region of the blade array extends into the porous region defined in the axially extending hub.

A compressor wheel that can be employed in devices such as turbochargers. The compressor wheel includes an axially extending hub having an inlet end, a shaft bore extending from the inlet end and an arcuate outer surface opposed to the shaft bore. The axially extending hub is composed of a metal and has a porous region located proximate to the arcuate outer surface of the axially extending hub. The compressor wheel also includes a blade array disposed on the arcuate outer surface of the axially extending hub. The blade array has an outer surface and an inner region. The blade array comprises a plurality of circumferentially-spaced, radially and axially extending blades disposed thereon and is composed, at least in part of a polymeric material. Polymeric material located in the inner region of the blade array extends into the porous region defined in the axially extending hub.
