Guy wire connector for ceiling fan
An apparatus for connecting one or more guy wires to a down rod, the connector having first and second separable portions which form an aperture for receiving the down rod. At least one of the first or second portions includes at least one passage adapted for releasably receiving a portion of the guy wire. The guy wire may include an anchor, and the passage for receiving the guy wire may be adapted for capturing the anchor so as to preclude movement of the guy wire in a radial direction.
Variable guide vane assembly and bushings therefor
A gas turbine engine has: an annular gaspath extending around a central axis and defined between a first casing and a second casing; and a variable guide vane (VGV) assembly having: variable guide vanes, the variable guide vanes having airfoils extending between first and second stems at respective first and second ends of the airfoils, the variable guide vanes rotatable about respective spanwise axes; a unison ring rotatable about the central axis, the unison ring operatively connected to the variable guide vanes for rotating the variable guide vanes about the respective spanwise axes, and a segmented bushing having bushing segments circumferentially distributed around the central axis, the bushing segments radially supported and axially constrained by the first casing, the unison ring rollingly engaged to the first casing via the bushing segments, the unison ring axially and radially constrained to the first casing via the bushing segments.
Asymmetrical double-outlet blower
The disclosure relates to an asymmetrical double-outlet blower, including an upper case, a lower case and an impeller. The upper case includes an inlet. The lower case and the upper case are assembled to form a housing having an accommodation space, and form a first outlet and a second outlet. The accommodation space is in fluid communication with the first outlet, the second outlet and the inlet. The first outlet and the second outlet are disposed on a lateral periphery of the housing and face two opposite directions, respectively. An opening cross-sectional area of the first outlet is less than an opening cross-sectional area of the second outlet. The impeller is accommodated within the accommodation space of the housing, spatially corresponding to the inlet, and rotated around a rotation axis. An airflow is inhaled through the inlet and transported to the first outlet and the second outlet, respectively.
BLADE COMPRISING A COMPOSITE MATERIAL STRUCTURE AND ASSOCIATED MANUFACTURING METHOD
The present invention relates to a blade (7) comprising: —a composite material structure (17), —a blade root fastening portion (9) further comprising a shoulder (10) extending into the recess from the wall—a base (18) arranged in the recess and comprising a support member configured to abut against the shoulder (10) of the blade root fastening portion (9) and a passage (39) formed in the support member, the sections (23) of the blade root portion (22) of the composite material structure extending through the passage (39), and—a blocking part (19) arranged in the recess between the two sections (23) of the blade root portion (22) such that each section of the blade root portion (23) is pressed against the support member by the blocking part (19).
CONNECTING DEVICE FOR AN ADJUSTABLE BLADE OF A GAS TURBINE AND GAS TURBINE
The invention relates to a connecting device for an adjustable blade or vane of a gas turbine, comprising a journal element connected to a respective blade or vane and a lever element connected to the journal element, wherein the lever element and the journal element are jointly movable about a journal axis of rotation. A clamping element is provided, being situated between the lever element and the journal element, such that a force-locking connection is or can be produced between the journal element, the clamping element, and the lever element. The lever element, the clamping element, and the journal element are aligned relative to each other by means of a positioning element, the positioning element being received in a first seat of the journal element and a corresponding second seat of the lever element.
CENTRIFUGAL WELL PUMP WITH THREADEDLY COUPLED DIFFUSERS
A well pump includes a plurality of diffusers, wherein each diffuser comprises a first threaded coupling on one longitudinal end and a second threaded coupling on an opposed longitudinal end. An impeller is disposed in each diffuser. The plurality of diffusers are coupled end to end to form a pump housing, in which the first threaded coupling on one diffuser is threadedly engaged to the second threaded coupling on adjacent diffuser.
VENTILATION FAN INSTALLATION SYSTEM
An assembly includes a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket includes a first member that includes a plurality of fingers and a first channel between the plurality of fingers. The first channel includes a plurality of teeth. A first flange extends from the first member and includes a first engagement surface. The second bracket includes a second member and a third member spaced from the second member. A second channel is formed between the second member and the third member. A second flange extends from the second member on an opposite side of the second member from the third member. The second flange includes a second engagement surface. In an installed configuration, the first bracket is secured to the second bracket; the first engagement surface faces the second engagement surface; and the plurality of fingers are inserted into the second channel.
Fan blade device
A fan blade device includes a plurality of main fan blades and extension fan blades. Each main fan blade includes a main fan blade body arranged obliquely, a plurality of first protrusions, and at least one engaging groove. Each extension fan blade includes an extension fan blade body arranged obliquely and having a top surface that is contiguously flush with a top surface of the main fan blade body of a respective main fan blade, a plurality of second protrusions respectively abutting against the first protrusions of the respective main fan blade, and at least one engaging piece engaging the at least one engaging groove of the respective main fan blade.
MODULAR NOZZLE RING FOR A TURBINE STAGE OF A CONTINUOUS FLOW MACHINE
The invention relates to a modular nozzle ring for a turbine stage of a continuous flow machine. The modular nozzle ring has a carrier system having an an adjustment ring, and a blade module having a blade leaf. The blade module is detachably connected to the carrier system. Furthermore, an adjustment angle of the blade leaf by the carrier system, in particular by the adjustment ring spaced apart from a flow channel, is specified, which adjustment angle is unchangeable during operation. The blade module is designed to be detachably pressed to a turbine housing part on the flow side, in particular by the adjustment ring. The invention furthermore relates to a blade module for a modular nozzle ring of a turbine stage and the use of a carrier system for a modular nozzle ring.
