The hybrid electric propulsion system includes an electric motor configured to augment rotational power of the shaft of the gas turbine engine. A controller is operable to determine an estimate of hybrid electric propulsion system parameters based on a composite system model and sensor data, determine a model predictive control state and a prediction based on the hybrid electric propulsion system parameters and the composite system model, determine a model predictive control optimization for a plurality of hybrid electric system control effectors based on the model predictive control state and the prediction using a plurality of reduced-order partitions of the composite system model, and actuate the hybrid electric system control effectors based on the model predictive control optimization.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING THE HEALTH STATE OF BLADE ROOT FASTENER
The invention provides a method for monitoring health state of blade root fastener, comprising the following steps: obtaining a sequence of acceleration signals representing the lateral vibration of the nacelle and a sequence of rotational speed signals representing the rotational speed of the rotor; analyzing the sequence of acceleration signals and the sequence of rotational speed signals to determine the amplitude of the nacelle at 2-time-frequncy of the rotational speed of the rotor; and determining the health state of the blade root fastener based on the amplitude. The invention also provides a system for monitoring the health state of the blade root fastener. Through the present invention, the health state of the blade root fastener can be determined with low cost and high precision, thereby improving the operation efficiency and operation safety of the wind turbine.
Systems and methods for engine calibration
Methods and systems for calibrating an engine having a rotating shaft are provided. Readings from a plurality of speed sensors provided in one of a plurality of configurations about the shaft are obtained over a plurality of rotations of the shaft, the readings indicative of the passage of position markers and associated with a first precision level. A parameter indicative of relative spacing between the plurality of speed sensors is determined by applying a statistical algorithm to the readings, the parameter being associated with a second precision level higher than the first precision level. The parameter is compared to reference parameters associated with the plurality of configurations to identify an actual speed sensor configuration from amongst the plurality of configurations. The engine is calibrated based on the actual speed sensor configuration.
