Control mapping for hydraulic machines
A machine control system can store model weights determined via machine learning using a training dataset correlating preset hydraulic valve displacements to measured movement parameters of a machine component. The machine control system can receive an input command for the component and machine state data from machine sensors. A control mapping model can use the model weights to map a combination of the input command and the machine state data into a predicted displacement of the hydraulic valve that causes movement of the component in response to the input command.

Pressure compensation valve with load-sense fluid signal generation and a reverse free flow configuration integrated therewith
An example valve includes: a first port, a second port, and a load-sense port; a valve piston configured to block fluid flow from the first port to the second port when the valve piston is in a neutral position; a reverse flow spring applying a first biasing force on the valve piston in a proximal direction; and a pressure compensation spring disposed in a spring chamber and applying a second biasing force on the valve piston in a distal direction, wherein when pressure level of fluid at the second port is higher than pressure level of fluid at the load-sense port, fluid flows from the second port to the spring chamber and the load-sense port, and wherein when pressure level of fluid at the load-sense port is higher than pressure level of fluid at the second port, fluid of the load-sense port is provided to the spring chamber.
Refuse vehicle control systems and methods
A refuse vehicle includes a chassis and a vehicle body. A variable displacement pump is positioned within the vehicle body and is configured to pump hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic fluid reservoir into a high pressure line of a hydraulic circuit. A lifting system on the vehicle includes at least one actuator in fluid communication with the variable displacement pump, which delivers pressurized hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic fluid reservoir to the actuator through the high pressure line to adjust a position of the actuator. A valve is positioned downstream of the variable displacement pump. In a first valve position, the valve restricts flow outward from the high pressure line. In a second valve position, the valve directs fluid from the high pressure line into a lower pressure line to reduce a hydraulic pressure within the high pressure line and adjust an output parameter of the variable displacement pump.
Hydraulic driving system for construction machine
Control valves 100f, 100g, and 100h that reduce flow passage areas of parallel hydraulic fluid lines 41f, 41g, and 41h respectively when operating devices 34a, 34b for traveling are operated, are each disposed in the parallel hydraulic fluid line 41f, 41g, or 41h so that if saturation occurs during combined operations control likely to generate a significant difference in load pressure between any two actuators, the control valve prevents full closing of a pressure compensating valve lower in load pressure and thus prevents a slowdown and stop of the actuator undergoing the lower load pressure, and so that if saturation occurs during combined operations control likely to generate a particularly significant difference in load pressure between any two actuators, the control valve ensures a necessary supply of hydraulic fluid to the actuator higher in load pressure, thereby preventing a slowdown and stop of the actuator higher in load pressure.
CONTROL ARCHITECTURE FOR PRIME MOVER STALL PREVENTION
A method for preventing prime mover stall for a work machine including a hydraulic system having a plurality of control valves served by a hydraulic pump. The method can include determining an actual required flow rate value for the plurality control valves and a total maximum flow rate to the plurality of control valves that will enable the prime mover to operate without stalling. The method can also include operating the plurality of control valves such that the combined total flow of the plurality control valves is at or below the total maximum flow rate such that the pump operates at a condition below which prime mover stall will occur. The method can also include setting a flow sharing allocated specific criteria in which the flow reduction takes place during a flow saturation condition for each of the plurality of control valves such that the total sum of the flow rates (calculated based on the criteria) is equal to or less than the total maximum flow rate.
