Furniture drive
A furniture drive for moving a furniture part movably-supported relative to a furniture carcass includes a carrier configured to be fixed within or to a sidewall of the furniture carcass, and the carrier has a front face and a longitudinal side protruding substantially at a right angle from the front face. A pivotally supported actuating arm is provided for moving the movable furniture part, and fastening device can fasten a furniture panel of the furniture carcass. The furniture panel extends substantially horizontally in a mounted position, and a fastening device includes a movably-supported locking element for fastening the furniture panel. The locking element is configured to be accessible for a manual or for a tool-assisted actuation from a longitudinal side of the carrier, and the longitudinal side of the carrier faces towards the outside.
Article of furniture and method of installing same
An article of furniture can include an upper beam member, a first side member, a second side member, and a plurality of attachment bracket members connecting the first side member to the upper beam member adjacent a first side of the upper beam member and also connecting the second side member to the upper beam member adjacent a second side of the upper beam member. Each attachment bracket members can have a body and a plurality of arms extending from the body. The arms can include a first and second top arms, first and second intermediate arms, and first and second bottom arms. The arms can be positioned to define channels.
MAGNET, PIN, AND SPRING ASSISTED LOCKABLE HORIZONTALLY AND VERTICALLY ALIGNING ERGONOMIC NOVEL LATCH MECHANISMS
A system for fastening panels at 90-degree angles and at 180-degree angles is provided comprising a frame hammer assembly attached proximate a first edge of a first panel and a frame dowel pin assembly attached proximate a second edge of a second panel. At least one dowel pin protrudes from the dowel pin assembly, the at least one pin inserted into an alignment hole in the frame hammer assembly upon placement of the first edge against the second edge and alignment of the assemblies. A rotatable hammer attached to the hammer assembly, the hammer attached, after rotation, to the dowel pin assembly. A hammer magnet is attached to the hammer and one of a frame magnet and a frame steel plate attached to the dowel pin assembly, the hammer magnet and the one of the frame magnet and frame steel plate attracting and contacting after rotation.
Elements and a locking device for an assembled product
A set including a first element with a cylindrical shaped part, a second element having a cylindrical shaped groove with a circular opening in an outer surface of the second element, and a mechanical locking device. The mechanical locking device includes a tongue groove, a displacement groove and a flexible tongue in the displacement groove, and is configured to lock the cylindrical shaped part to the cylindrical shaped groove. The flexible tongue is configured to cooperate with the tongue groove for locking the cylindrical shaped part to the cylindrical shaped groove. The flexible tongue is configured to be reshaped and displaced in the displacement groove during locking, and spring back to a locked position. The flexible tongue is configured to exert a spring force on the tongue groove in the locked position.
Eccentric Bushing for Redundant Pinning of Removable Panels
An eccentric bushing assembly comprises an outer eccentric bushing configured to be disposed in an opening of a panel comprising a central axis. The outer eccentric bushing is operable to float axially, rotate circumferentially, and to move radially with respect to the central axis. The eccentric bushing assembly further comprises an inner eccentric bushing disposed radially inward from the outer eccentric bushing and interfacing with the outer eccentric bushing, the inner eccentric bushing is operable to rotate relative to the outer eccentric bushing. The eccentric bushing assembly further comprises a spherical bushing comprising a through hole operable to receive a connecting pin therein and to rotate in at least one degree of freedom. The rotation of the spherical bushing can facilitate alignment of an axis of the pin with the through hole.
Magnet, pin, and spring assisted lockable horizontally and vertically aligning ergonomic novel latch mechanisms
A number of magnetically assisted latch mechanisms are presented, where the latching and unlatching action is done with reduced user effort, therefore promoting speed and efficiency without sacrificing the strength of the bond of the connected components. The latching mechanisms are designed to secure panels or other similar small and large mostly flat components. The latching method is done by a rotating component that takes all the separating load once rotated into the locked position. The rotatable lock, or hammer, is also locked itself into position to prevent accidental movement by the hammer.
Display positioning apparatus and method
An apparatus for positioning an electronic display can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases, the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position.
FASTENER FOR GROOVED JOINT BETWEEN FURNITURE PANELS
A fastener for a grooved joint between furniture panels is disclosed, including a connecting rod having an outer periphery which includes a first peripheral section and a second peripheral section, where the first peripheral section is a geometric cross section and the second peripheral section is of an arc shape; the first peripheral section and the second peripheral section are connected end to end; and a face of one end of the connecting rod is provided with an installation recess for turning the fastener for a grooved joint between furniture panels; an outer surface of the connecting rod is provided with a thread and a stop perpendicular to a direction of the thread; and the other end of the connecting rod is provided with a ratchet. The fastener is convenient to install and uninstall and does not damage back panels or installation panels.
Transgrip arm assembly with quick change connection
A transgrip spindle assembly includes a ball head coupler. A transgrip arm includes a quick change bore, and a lateral bore opening orthogonally into the quick change bore. A cam lock assembly includes a cylindrical body, and a ball head bore radially penetrating the cylindrical body for alignment with the quick change bore. The cylindrical body is receivable in the transgrip arm. The transgrip arm is coupleable with the transgrip spindle assembly by coupling the ball head coupler with the cylindrical body.
ARTICLE OF FURNITURE AND METHOD OF INSTALLING SAME
An article of furniture can be configured to allow for a toolless installation via use of one or more attachment bracket members. The article can be configured to facilitate the distribution of power and/or data wiring to different articles as well as support one or more articles (e.g. privacy screens, shelving, displays, etc.). The article can be configured to be mobile for allowing a work space to be adjusted to alter the arrangement or spacing of different work stations within a work area (e.g. an office, a floor of a building, etc.).
