Fastener system
A fastener system shifting shear stresses away from a collet body and provides clamping action to targeted structures. The fastener system includes feet in the collet body that mate with openings in a sleeve at least partially surrounding the collet body. The sleeve or the collet body includes interior threads that engage with a stud that is configured to extend through the collet body and bend the feet such that they project outward from the sleeve openings in an engaged configuration.
Expansion Anchor
An expansion anchor includes a bolt, a spacer sleeve, an expansible sleeve, an expanding member, and a collar where the collar is disposed between the expansible sleeve and the spacer sleeve. The bolt is insertable into the spacer sleeve, the collar, and expansible sleeve in sequence and a thread of the bolt at a leading end of the bolt is connected to the expanding member to draw the expanding member into the expansible sleeve and expand the expansible sleeve radially. The collar is formed by a first material with a first hardness and a second material with a second hardness where the first hardness is different from the second hardness.
Expanding pin assembly controlled by actuator for locking and unlocking mechanical joint
An expanding pin system is described that can provide automated and/or power controlled locking and unlocking of an expanding pin assembly in a mechanical joint. For example, the expanding pin system can include an actuation assembly that includes a single actuator (e.g., motor) to control an expanding pin assembly for locking and unlocking a mechanical joint.
Anchor bolt
An anchor bolt which is surely fixed to, for example, a rock wall and is easy to carry and store is provided. The anchor bolt according to the present invention has expandable devices (5) which are disposed at three locations of a rod (3). When the anchor bolt is inserted into a bore (2), a free end of an abutment part (16) of the expandable device (5) abuts an inner peripheral surface (26) of the bore (2), and expandable members (13) are held in the bore (2). In this state, when a taper member (12) is moved toward a base end of the anchor bolt along with the rod (3), an inclined surface (15) of the taper member (12) surface-contacts an inner surface (19) of the abutment part (16), and an outer peripheral surface (20) of the abutment part (16) is pressed against an inner peripheral surface 26 of the bore (2).
Assembly comprising a first and a second member and a connector, and a method of assembling such an assembly
An assembly includes a first and a second member, where the second member has a fork-shaped cross section with a main body and two substantially parallel walls that each comprise at least one through hole and the first member is arranged between the two walls of the second member, having a through hole. The through hole of the first member and the through holes of the second member define a channel. A connector is axially insertable in the channel to an end position and consecutively expandable radially relative to said channel, to connect the first and second member relative to each other. The connector, in an expanded state thereof, pushes the first member against the main body of the second member to define a pre-tensioned connection between the first member and the second member. A method of assembling a first and a second member.
Device for securing a rung in a concrete wall
A device has two anchor sleeves (3) in a concrete wall (2) accommodating two parallel anchor bolts (6) of a U-shaped step iron (1) form-fittingly. Between coupling parts formed by the anchor sleeves (3) and the anchor bolts (6), a detent assembly (7) has at least one detent tongue (8) sprung in the radial direction on one of the coupling parts (3, 6) and a detent recess (9) that receives the detent tongue (8) on the other coupling part (6, 3). A guide surface (15) for the detent tongue (8) is inclined in the peripheral direction and extends in the radial direction over the engagement depth of the detent tongue (8) adjoining the detent recess (9) at least in a peripheral direction.
RIVET FASTENER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A rivet fastener assembly is configured to securely clamp together one or more components. The rivet fastener assembly includes a pin and a rivet body having a collar and a column extending from the collar. The rivet body further includes a collar stop configured to provide a positive locating feature for the pin once assembled.
