Expandable Screw with Separate Expansion Fingers
A screw includes a shank where a thread helix receiving groove winds around the shank and is disposed in the shank. A thread helix is disposed in the thread helix receiving groove where the thread helix has an expandable helix section. The shank has, at the thread helix receiving groove, a wedge flank for radially expanding the expandable helix section as the shank is moved relative to the expandable helix section. The expandable helix section has a helical back and a plurality of expansion fingers projecting axially from the helical back towards the wedge flank. The wedge flank of the thread helix receiving groove is configured for radially displacing the plurality of expansion fingers outwardly as the shank is moved relative to the plurality of expansion fingers.
Fastener and Fastening Arrangement Including Nut with Load Transfer Shoulder
A fastener includes an anchor bolt and a nut. The nut has a nut hole and an internal thread. The anchor bolt has an anchor portion and a threaded rod that has an external thread and that is connected to the anchor portion. The nut is arranged on the threaded rod and the internal thread of the nut threadedly engages the external thread of the threaded rod. The nut has a rearward nut section, a forward nut section, and an outside shoulder for load transfer into the nut which is located between the forward nut section and the rearward nut section and which faces the anchor portion of the anchor bolt. The internal thread of the nut extends at least in the forward nut section and threadedly engages the external thread of the threaded rod at least in the forward nut section.
Fastener Positional Confirmation System
Described is a fastener for securing at least one tube relative to a component. The fastener includes a carrier portion, a fastener portion, and an installation indicator. The carrier portion is configured to secure the at least one tube via at least one tube pocket. The installation indicator positioned in or on the carrier portion via a hinge. The tab can pivot between a first position and a second position when the tube is inserted into the tube pocket to indicate that the tube is properly seated in the tube pocket. The installation indicator can be a barcode or a quick response (QR) code.
Cast-in place anchor assembly
A cast-in-place anchor assembly is disclosed for suspending objects below a metal deck. The assembly includes an anchor body and an anchor support. The anchor body includes a threaded opening. The anchor support includes a central member which, in use, extends from a first upper side of the metal deck to a second lower side of the metal deck. The central member further includes a connector. The central member also includes a biasing portion which cantilevers radially outward. The central member further includes a stopping member sized to be larger than a deck opening. An end of the anchor body is connected to a connector to conceal the threaded opening from poured concrete. The stop member flexes to pass through the opening in the metal deck and the stop member and the biasing member flexingly bias the anchor support into position relative to the metal decking.

Fastener device
A fastener adapted to be mounted through an aperture of a wall has an inner stud, a spiral structure, and an outer fastener. The inner stud is sized to fit through the aperture of the wall and hold the spiral structure. The outer fastener engages the inner stud to compress the spiral structure into a washer-like structure, which supports the fastener on the wall.
