Screen frame retention clip
A clip for fastening a screen to a frame the has a top and a bottom; an opening extending through the clip. A connector extends through opening to attach the clip to a door or window frame. A projection extends a vertical distance from an end of the clip for holding a screen in place. The clip bottom has a circular recess surrounding the opening. Attachable segments extend from the bottom of the clip having a diameter and a thickness and having an opening for receipt of a connector. The attachable segments bottom has a circular recess surrounding the attachable segments opening. The attachable segment top has a protruding ring that mates with the circular recess on the clip bottom or with a circular recess surrounding an attachable segment opening. The segments raising the vertical distance of the projection so the projection contacts the screen.
Supports and Securements for Cameras, Lighting and Other Equipment, and Novel Couplers and Accessories for Same
Unique securement devices, usable for example as tripod feet, each feature a bistable spring band encapsulated in an outer skin with a set of optionally magnetic embedments discretely spaced along the band, and a coupler at one end for attachment to a tripod leg or other component. Unique ball and socket joints employ both a snap fit and a secondary retention mechanism to reliably secure together various components, including said securement devices and tripod legs. One joint includes an externally convex and internally concave ball coupler for optional mating with either a larger socket coupler or smaller ball. One joint includes a stabilization sleeve for angularly locking the ball and socket joint. An elongated support, usable as a tripod leg for example, features threaded connection ports usable to either directly mount threaded third-party componentry, or to receive a threaded ball coupler by which socket-equipped componentry can be indirectly attached.

CLIP FOR SECURING A FIRST ELEMENT TO A SECOND ELEMENT
Disclosed is a clip for fastening a first element to a second element, the clip having a head and a tip and a first side and a second side, wherein the first side extends from the head toward the tip and the second side extends from the head toward the tip. A first sidewall extends from the first side toward the second side and a second sidewall extends from the second side toward the first side, the clip having a latching projection projecting in a latching direction and having a latching face facing the latching direction. The latching face is arranged in a plane which is not parallel to the first sidewall and/or not parallel to the second sidewall. The clip further includes a latching receptacle.
GRIPPER COMPRISING A RESETABLE SNAP-BAND AND METHOD OF USE
Two objects can be connected, e.g., in space, by maneuvering a gripper proximate a target which may be in space, commanding the snap-band controller to move the snap-band into its open position, maneuvering the gripper to a further position closer to the target to where the controllable snap-band, when closed, at least partially encircles the target, and commanding the snap-band controller to move the controllable snap-band into its closed position to at least partially encircle and capture the target. The gripper comprises a controllable snap-band comprising a selectable open position and closed position which is disposed about an external surface of a housing.
Fastening apparatus
A fastening apparatus includes an annular base element having an assembly wall for abutting a first component and a first fastening wall for abutting the second component, and an assembly element having a bottom wall. To enable passage through a second through-opening of the second component, the assembly element has a smaller diameter than the base element. At least two diametrically opposed foldable retaining arms are arranged radially circumferentially and connect the assembly wall to the assembly element. The retaining arms are each connected to the assembly element and the base element via a respective joint and form an articulated joint in the region between the joints. A region of the retaining arms between the articulated joints and the assembly wall forms a fastening portion, and at least one catching device is provided to connect the base element to the assembly element in an assembly position.
MOBILE DEVICE ENGAGEMENT APPARATUS
A mobile device engagement apparatus may include an engagement housing member that extends from a first end to an opposing second end and defines an engagement element cavity. The apparatus may an engagement element that extends from a first engagement element end to an opposing second engagement element end. The engagement element may be moveable between at least one of a stored configuration, an operating configuration, and a secured configuration. The apparatus includes a connecting element configured to securely engage the engagement housing member and the engagement element with another. The connecting element may provide for the rotation of the engagement element with respect to the engagement housing member.
Ceiling triggered spring clip for lighting module install
A preloadable trigger-release-clip that may be ceiling triggered for lighting module installation is described, including systems and methods of use. The trigger-release-clip may include a base-plate, a trigger, a clip, and a stop. The base-plate may be a structural member that attaches to a lighting module. The trigger may be in communication with the base-plate. The clip, with a torsion-spring, may be in communication with the base-plate. The stop may be in communication with the trigger. In a pre-loaded configuration, the stop may be in an up position that prevents the clip from actuating. In a final configuration, the stop has been retracted into a down position by the trigger being depressed by a bottom of a ceiling that may allow the clip to actuate, such that a terminal end of the clip pivots to grab a top of the ceiling securing the lighting module to the ceiling.
Tripod appliance
A tripod appliance has a device comprising a support with three hubs and three legs rotationally attached to the hubs permitting the legs to be rotated from a standing position to a storage position. Each hub has a support contour and each leg has a clip and a clip contour, each clip defining a standing position and a storage position. First and second rotations about the hub effect changes between standing and storage positions. Rotation from standing to storage positions is deterred by an interference of the clip contour interfering with the support contour. Each leg is configured so that a force applied to the leg at a distance from the hub overcomes the interference, thereby effecting rotational displacement.
