FASTENING APPARATUS
A fastening apparatus includes an annular base element having an assembly wall for abutting a first component and a first fastening wall for abutting the second component, and an assembly element having a bottom wall. To enable passage through a second through-opening of the second component, the assembly element has a smaller diameter than the base element. At least two diametrically opposed foldable retaining arms are arranged radially circumferentially and connect the assembly wall to the assembly element. The retaining arms are each connected to the assembly element and the base element via a respective joint and form an articulated joint in the region between the joints. A region of the retaining arms between the articulated joints and the assembly wall forms a fastening portion, and at least one catching device is provided to connect the base element to the assembly element in an assembly position.
FASTENING ARRANGEMENT
A fastening arrangement comprises a first component that is repeatably releasably fastenable to a second component, and an additional part. The additional part is pivotable about a pivot joint between an open functional position, in which a joining portion of the first component is joinable to a receiving portion of the second component, and a closed functional position, in which the joining portion of the first component is received in the receiving portion of the second component. During a transition between the functional positions, the additional part passes through an unstable dead-center position.
Supports and securements for cameras, lighting and other equipment, and novel couplers and accessories for same
Unique securement devices, usable for example as tripod feet, each feature a bistable spring band encapsulated in an outer skin with a set of optionally magnetic embedments discretely spaced along the band, and a coupler at one end for attachment to a tripod leg or other component. Unique ball and socket joints employ both a snap fit and a secondary retention mechanism to reliably secure together various components, including said securement devices and tripod legs. One joint includes an externally convex and internally concave ball coupler for optional mating with either a larger socket coupler or smaller ball. One joint includes a stabilization sleeve for angularly locking the ball and socket joint. An elongated support, usable as a tripod leg for example, features threaded connection ports usable to either directly mount threaded third-party componentry, or to receive a threaded ball coupler by which socket-equipped componentry can be indirectly attached.
Clip for securing a first element to a second element
Disclosed is a clip for fastening a first element to a second element, the clip having a head and a tip and a first side and a second side, wherein the first side extends from the head toward the tip and the second side extends from the head toward the tip. A first sidewall extends from the first side toward the second side and a second sidewall extends from the second side toward the first side, the clip having a latching projection projecting in a latching direction and having a latching face facing the latching direction. The latching face is arranged in a plane which is not parallel to the first sidewall and/or not parallel to the second sidewall. The clip further includes a latching receptacle.

FASTENER STRUCTURE
A fastener structure includes a fastening element and a body portion. The fastening element includes an operation portion and a fastening portion. The body portion is coupled to the fastening element by a coupling portion. The body portion is fastened to a first object and is fastened to or unfastened from a second object by the fastening element to couple together and separate the first and second objects repeatedly and rapidly.
Bicycle pedal and shoe clip assembly
A releasable attachment assembly for releasably attaching a first item to a second item is disclosed. The assembly may be a bicycle pedal and shoe clip assembly for releasably engaging a cyclist's shoe to a pedal of a bicycle. The bicycle pedal and shoe clip assembly may comprise a shoe clip and a pedal. The shoe clip may comprise a shoe plate adapted to attach to a bottom surface of a shoe, a shoe bracket spaced from the shoe plate, and a shoe post disposed between the shoe bracket and the shoe plate. The pedal may comprise a pedal body having an integral guide slot, the guide slot adapted to receive the shoe post, and opposing grasps disposed within the guide slot. The opposing grasps may be movable between an open and a closed position to releasably secure the shoe post within the guide slot.
Hydraulic supply systems
Hydraulic supply systems and cranes incorporating the same are disclosed. Hydraulic supply systems may include an auxiliary hydraulic circuit that includes a pump, a power source, and a plurality of plumbing elements. The hydraulic supply systems may further include a control system that controls operation of at least a portion of the plurality of plumbing elements and a control panel that is positioned remotely from the control system and is in communication with the control system, where the control panel provides selective input to the control system.
