FASTENING ELEMENT
A fastening element (10) for attaching a component to a support structure in a fastening direction (20), comprising a receptacle (30) receiving a tool nose (110) of a setting tool and having an abutment face (40) and a trap element (50), the abutment face (40) facing against the fastening direction (20) and abutting a front face (130) of the tool nose (110) when the tool nose (110) is received in the receptacle (30), the trap element (50) locking the tool nose (110) in the receptacle (30) in the fastening direction (20), and a slide-in channel (60) allowing sliding the tool nose (110) into the receptacle (30) and having one or more guide elements (70) guiding the tool nose (110) in a sliding direction (80) when the tool nose (110) is slid into the receptacle (30), wherein the sliding direction (80) is oblique to the fastening direction (20).
Quick connect
An electrical connection assembly includes an electrical box including a housing having an internal surface defining an internal volume of the housing. An electrical connector is positioned outside the internal volume of the housing and fixed to the housing with a fastener. The housing includes an aperture having an opening defining an insertion path extending from a location external to the housing along a frame of the electrical connector to a location within the internal volume of the housing. The assembly includes a disc mechanically secured to the housing relative to the opening to obstruct the insertion path. A retainer and a bushing including a membrane for the electrical connector as well as methods of making an electrical connector are also provided.
Combination shelf with dual-pole vertical columns
A combination shelf includes at least four column units, at least two storage layers, and multiple clips. The column unit consists of two parallel, vertical poles on the left and right, and multiple connections connecting the left and right vertical poles. The clip has a vertical groove with a wing located on both sides at the lower halves of the front and rear ends of the groove opening. The grooves of the clips can be embedded by the vertical poles. The front and rear ends of both sides of the storage layer each offers an outward-opening U-shaped fastener. The front and rear edges of the lower half of the fastener each has a top pusher. The fasteners of the storage layer can each cover the exterior of the clips of the column units. The inner faces of the two top pushers each presses the two wings. By fitting together the corresponding bevels of the top pushers and the two wings, the clips and the fasteners press each other and therefore clamping the vertical pole.
Formwork tie
A tie nut of a formwork tie for connecting two formwork elements is secured on a tie rod to prevent inadvertent rotation by way of a form fit coupling that can be axially made to engage therewith.
Window treatment mounting system
A system for mounting a window treatment to a structure includes a beam supporting or forming a portion of the window treatment, a flange of a trim ring or an accessory thereof, and a clip connectable to the beam and to the flange.
Edge protector
An edge protector (100) is configured to secure onto an edge of a component. The edge protector includes a main shrouding body (102) that includes a first wall (104) connected to a second wall (106) by a connecting wall (108). An open-ended passage (110) is defined between the first wall, the second wall, and the connecting wall. A first securing clamp (112) extends inwardly into the passage from the first wall. A second securing clamp (116) that opposes the first securing clamp extends inwardly into the passage from the second wall. The first securing clamp and the second securing clamp are configured to securely clamp onto a portion of the component. The edge protector may also include at least one cutout (122) formed in at least one of the first wall or the second wall.
MOUNTING DEVICE FOR MOUNTING ELECTRONIC PRODUCT
A mounting device for easy mounting of a wireless device includes a clamping structure configured to clamp a support frame. The clamping structure includes a base including an upper surface and a lower surface, a first clamping part rotatably connected to the base, a second clamping part rotatably connected to the base, and a connection portion connected to the lower surface of the base. The wireless device is thus supported. The support frame is clamped between the upper surface and the first clamping part, and the support frame is clamped between the upper surface and the second clamping part.
Cable restraint and method of securing a cable
A cable restraint has: a first arm, having a first proximal end, a first distal end, and a first gripping portion located at the first distal end; a second arm, having a second proximal end, a second distal end and a second gripping portion located at the second distal end; wherein: the first proximal end is joined to the second proximal end, and the cable restraint is movable between: an open configuration in which the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion are spaced from each other to define a gap into which a cable may be inserted, and a closed configuration in which the first gripping port and the second gripping portion cooperate with each other to define a cable restraint channel.
Gear attachment system
A system includes knobs on an item of gear and a latch attached to a carrier. Each knob has a neck and a head with a larger diameter. First and second sliders fit into a latch frame. Hooks on the sliders form expandable apertures. To attach, the knob is pushed against the slider hooks to expand the aperture. After the head passes through the aperture, a spring biases the hooks together, so the aperture width is smaller than the head diameter, capturing the knob. A carrier adapter adapts the latch to a carrier. Adapters are available for duty belts, PALS-equipped carriers, and horizontal slots.
Walker caddy device
A walker caddy device for carrying items while using a walker and lighting a path in front of a user of the walker includes a caddy defining an interior space and having a support clip coupled to a back wall of the caddy. The support clip is configured to couple to an upper cross member of a walker with the caddy being supported by a lower cross member of the walker. The caddy has a light source coupled to a front wall powered by a power module for selectively lighting an area in front of the walker.
