Constant velocity universal joint
A constant velocity universal joint has an outer joint member and an inner joint member that transmits torque while permitting angular displacement due to balls between the inner and outer joint members. An attaching and detaching mechanism for attaching and detaching a power transmission shaft to and from the inner joint member is provided between the inner joint member and the power transmission shaft such that torque can be transmitted between the two. The attaching and detaching mechanism has a cylindrical member that fits over the power transmission shaft, a retaining ring that is radially movable, and an annular member that is axially movable. By using a boot band to fixedly tighten, to the power transmission shaft, a small diameter end portion of a boot closing an opening portion of the outer joint member, the axial position of the annular member is restricted by the small diameter end portion.
Quick-coupler
A quick-coupler for coupling a tool, including a coupling mount for receiving a first locking part and a locking mount for receiving a second locking part, wherein a securing element, which can be actuated by a pressure medium, is associated with the coupling mount for capturing and/or securing the first locking part in the coupling mount and a locking element, which can be actuated by a pressure medium, is associated with the locking mount for locking the second locking part in the locking mount. The securing element of the coupling mount can likewise be actuated by the pressure circuit for actuating the locking element of the locking mount, with the securing element being connected to the pressure circuit via a switching valve which is controllable by a sensor arranged at the coupling mount for detecting the locking part.
Connection for Transmitting Torque and Axial Forces
A connection for connecting a first member with a second member, including a torque transmitting connection between the first member and the second member and an axial force transmitting connection between the first member and the second member, wherein the axial force transmitting connection includes a first exterior shoulder on the first member, a second exterior shoulder on the second member, a first collar having a first interior shoulder for engaging with the first exterior shoulder, a second collar having a second interior shoulder for engaging with the second exterior shoulder, and a collar connection between the first collar and the second collar for transmitting an axial force between the first collar and the second collar.
Mechanical locking system for panels and method of installing same
Floor panels are provided with a mechanical locking system including a flexible locking element in a locking groove which during a horizontal motion is displaced vertically.
Drive shaft coupling
A drive shaft coupling for connecting a rotating tube cleaning shaft to a tube cleaning machine wherein high pressure fluid is pumped through the coupling, wherein the coupling is sealed to contain the high pressure fluid, and wherein a machine driven rotary flexible shaft passes through the coupling.
REDUCED POWER CONSUMPTION SEALING TOOL FOR STRAP
A sealing tool for forming a joint in a seal positioned on overlying courses of strap includes a body, a motor and drive train housed, at least in part, in the body, a power supply and a sealing assembly mounted to the body. The sealing assembly is operably coupled to the motor. The sealing assembly includes at least one jaw having a pair of opposing jaw elements. Each jaw element has two edges for cutting into the seal and the courses of strap and forming a bent tab. The jaw element edges are configured to cut into the seal and the courses of strap material at different distances into a width of the seal and strap material. A method for forming seal and a seal formed by the tool and method are disclosed.
ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP (ESP) ASSEMBLY SHAFT COUPLING WITH AXIAL LOAD HANDLING CAPABILITY
An electric submersible pump (ESP) assembly. The ESP assembly comprises a first ESP component having a first drive shaft defining a plurality of male splines and defining at least one cut-out area; a second ESP component having a second drive shaft defining a plurality of male splines; a coupling shell defining a first plurality of female splines configured to mate with the male splines of the first drive shaft, a second plurality of female splines configured to mate with the male splines of the second drive shafts, and at least one shouldered aperture configured to align with the cut-out area of the first drive shaft; and at least one removable lug having a pin that is configured to extend through the shouldered aperture in the coupling shell to engage with the at least one cut-out area of the first drive shaft.
Rotation Joint Structure with Two-Stage Lock
A rotation joint structure includes a fixed joint, a movable joint, a first limit member, and a second limit member. The fixed base has a locking groove. The movable joint is pivotally connected with the fixed joint. The movable joint has a first slideway and a second slideway connected to each other. The first limit member is movably mounted in the first slideway. The second limit member is movably mounted in the second slideway. When the second limit member is locked in the locking groove, and the first limit member stops the second limit member, the movable joint is locked and cannot be rotated. Thus, the movable joint is disposed at a two-stage locking state.
Probe fastening system and aircraft
A probe fastening system has a plate having at least one coupling-on recess and having at least one alignment element, which is arranged in the outer region of the plate, a backplate which has a fastening device for the fastening of a static probe and at least one recess which corresponds with the alignment element, at least one peelable shim which corresponds with the alignment element and which is arranged between the plate and the backplate, at least one alignment device which corresponds with the alignment element, and a coupling-on element which defines a cavity and which is designed for isobarically coupling the static probe onto the coupling-on recess.
Mechanical locking system for panels and method of installing same
Floor panels are provided with a mechanical locking system including a flexible locking element in a locking groove which during a horizontal motion is displaced vertically. A panel system including a plurality of rectangular panels with long and short edges which are mechanically connectable to each other along at least one pair of adjacent edges, said panels each being provided with a tongue and groove formed in one piece with the panels for mechanically locking together said adjacent edges at right angles to the principal plane of the panels, thereby forming a vertical mechanical connection between the panels, said panels being provided with a first locking element at one first edge formed in one piece with the panel and a locking groove at an opposite second edge, the locking groove being open towards a rear side or a front side of the panel.
