A threaded fastening assembly composed of a bolt, a nut, a fixing pin, and a positioning piece is revealed. The bolt includes at least one first groove arranged axially on a cylindrical surface of a shank and at least one first threaded segment. The nut has at least one second groove disposed axially on an inner cylindrical surface thereof and at least one second threaded segment. The first and second grooves are aligned to form a locking space for mounting the fixing pin. The positioning piece has a first side with two ends connected to a second side and a third side correspondingly. Inner edges of the second side and the third side are facing and extending toward each other to form convex portions which are matched with the first grooves. The fixing pin is mounted in the locking space for fastening the bolt and the nut.

A fixation assembly for affixing a first object to and variably spaced from a second object. The assembly comprises a male fastener and a female fastener. The male fastener comprises a bolt-shaped part having a circumferential outer surface. The surface includes alternately on a circumferential path, in a cross-sectional plane of the part, at least one ridged section and at least one plain section. The female fastener comprises a tubular part having a circumferential inner surface. The inner surface includes alternately on a circumferential path, in a cross-sectional plane of the part, at least one ridged section and at least one plain section. The male fastener can be inserted into the female fastener such that its ridged section coincides with the female fastener plain section. Either the male or female fastener is configured to be rotated relative to the other, thereby engaging respective ridges of the two fasteners.
ARMOUR
Modular armour is provided. The armour comprises a series of regularly-shaped armour elements and corresponding anchor elements releasably to anchor the armour elements to a platform. Each anchor element comprises an armour engaging section extending between first and second ends thereof, the first end being engageable with an armour mount on the platform and the second end including means releasably to secure the armour element, while engaged with the anchor element, to the platform. The platform may be fixed or mobile and includes land, water-born and air vehicles.

Screw and anchor assembly
A screw and anchor assembly include a male fastener and a female anchor. The male fastener only has threads or half-circular fins on half of the surface area. The other half is just like a regular cylinder. The female anchor only has threads or half-circular fins on half of the inner surface area. The other half is just like the inner wall of a regular cylinder. The user may push the male fastener into the female anchor, so the half-circular fins on the male fastener engages with the half-circular fins inside the female anchor and locks the male fastener to the female anchor. When the user needs to remove the male fastener, simply turns the male fastener 180 degrees and disengages the half-circular fins on the male fastener from the half-circular fins on the female anchor, then pull the male fastener from the female anchor.
FIXING FOR A SPARE WHEEL
A fixing is provided for securing a spare wheel to a structure, for example a part of a vehicle, the fixing including a connector having a lug arranged such that rotation of the fixing relative to the structure moves the lug into a recess of the structure to secure the fixing to the structure; and wherein the connector further includes a resilient articulated arm arranged to act between the fixing and the structure to urge the lug into the recess when the fixing is connected to the structure.

The male element has a cylindrical bolt-like shape and has a second engaging element portion and a second plain portion arranged alternatingly around a circumferential direction of the male element. The male element further has flattened sides at the second plain portion. The second engaging element portion of the male element is configured to engage with a respective one of the first engaging element portion of the barrel nut.

The apparatus also includes a draw stud assembly having a connector attachable to the movable piston, a draw stud, and a quick connect mechanism including mating first and second thread segments on the connector and the draw stud, respectively. The connector and the draw stud are movable between a first relative orientation where the mating first and second thread segments are misaligned to permit axial movement between the connector and the draw stud, and a second relative orientation where the mating first and second thread segments are aligned and engaged to inhibit axial movement between the connector and the draw stud.
