Joint device for screw and nut
A joint device for screw and nut includes a first body and a second body. The first body is provided with a plurality of first internal threads, of first external threads, and a first protrusion. The first protrusion is extended with a first engaging portion. The second body is provided with a plurality of second internal threads, of second external threads, and a second protrusion. The second protrusion is extended with a second engaging portion, such that the first protrusion and the second protrusion can be engaged with each other. When in a joining status, the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are engaged with each other, such that the first body and the second body are folded up and around the screw. The nut can therefore screw up the first body and the second body correspondingly.
Hinge Nut for Meter Coupling Valve
Embodiments of the present invention provide a hinge nut apparatus for a meter coupling. In an embodiment of the invention, the hinge nut includes at least two portions attached to each other by a hinge pin adjacent a distal end of each portion and the two portions are configured to be moved between an open position and a closed position. The closed position forms an outer surface and an opening forming an inner surface. The inner surface includes a first interior diameter adjacent a distal end of the opening and a second interior diameter adjacent the first interior diameter. The second interior diameter is greater than the first interior diameter and forms a lip and at least a portion of the second interior diameter includes threading.
Structural fastener
A spin nut is operable to attach to a threaded fastener such as a rod. The spin nut includes a threaded nut having a shoulder for supporting a bracket, and a snap retainer detachably coupled to the threaded nut operable to spin onto any position on the threaded rod. At least one wing is formed on the snap retainer operable to attach to a bracket having a hole and spin to adjust to a position on the threaded rod. The snap retainer is detachably couple the plurality of sectioned threaded nut sections operable to spring open on a side opposite the band to allow the threaded rod to pass through.
Speed Nut
A speed nut provides a separable housing, when closed, defining an internally threaded cavity for engaging a threaded shaft, and when open, allowing movement of the speed nut along the shaft without engagement of the threads. Interdigitated knuckles on the housing portions provide robust resistance against axial shifting when the nut is used to apply axial force to the threaded shaft. The knuckles may also provide a hinge point allowing the nut to be opened and closed with a simple hinging action and a means for locking the nut portions together through a releasable pin passing through the opposite knuckles.
Serviceable stud-to-tie strap fastener
An example fastener includes a body and a clamp. The body includes a first resilient arm. The clamp is pivotably engaged with the body.
Structural fastener
A multi sectioned nut is operable to attach to a threaded fastener. The multi sectioned nut includes a plurality of multi sectioned threaded nut sections and a turn-lock formed on at least one end of the plurality of threaded nut sections. A cage is detachably coupled to the plurality of nut sections operable to spring open on a side opposite the cage to allow the threaded fastener to pass through. The turn-lock is inserted into a strut slot and rotated to removably attach to the strut slot. According to one embodiment, the multi sectioned nut may include at least two sections.
Adjusting device
An adjusting device (1) for adjusting a position of a headlight, comprising: a holding element (2) for holding the adjusting device (1) at an adjusting screw (10) and a transmission element (3) for changing the position of the headlight depending on the position of the holding element (2) at the adjusting screw (10), wherein the holding element (2) comprises at least two parts (2a, 2b) which are movable relative to one another and which at least partially enclose the cross-sectional area of the adjusting screw (10), and a moving means (4) is arranged at at least one of the at least two parts (2a, 2b), the moving means (4) can be moved such that the at least two parts (2a, 2b) move away from one another in order to arrange the holding element (2) of the adjusting device (1) at the adjusting screw (10), and such that the at least two parts (2a, 2b) move towards one another in order for the at least two parts (2a, 2b) of the holding element (2) to hold the adjusting device (1) at the adjusting screw (10), as well as a headlight with such an adjusting device (1) and a corresponding method.
Nut devices for instrument stand
Nut devices including a butterfly portion with an axial hole that can be opened such that the nut device can be slid up or down a host device, such as a cymbal stand rod, without the typical screw-type motion, are disclosed. Also disclosed are nut devices including drum key functionality.
SERVICEABLE STUD-TO-TIE STRAP FASTENER
An example fastener includes a body and a clamp. The body includes a first resilient arm. The clamp is pivotably engaged with the body.
