FASTENER WITH ALIGNMENT BUSHING
A fastener includes a shank having a threaded section with a first diameter and an unthreaded section with a second, smaller diameter. A flange is attached to the unthreaded section of the shank. A bushing has a tip, a base, and a tapered sidewall extending from the base to the tip. The bushing defines a central hole received on the unthreaded section with the base adjacent to the flange.
WASHER AND FASTENING STRUCTURE
Provided are a washer that has a non-rotating function and does not damage an attachment surface at the time of fastening and loosening without increasing the number of components, and a fastening structure that prevents accompanying rotation of a bolt by applying the non-rotating function.
Disclosed is a washer 1 is used by being sandwiched between an attachment surface Sa of an object S to be attached and a nut 2 or a bolt head. A first annular protrusion 3 is formed on a side of the attachment surface Sa. An inner shape of the first annular protrusion 3 is larger than an outer shape of the nut 2 or the bolt head.
Pressure fixing device of panel-works, in particular covering panels in nautical field
A fixing device for fixing of two bodies to each other, for example a panel to a wall or two panels to each other, includes a male element having a support base and an engaging element, the support base having a rear surface for leaning onto one of the two bodies to be connected and a front surface from which the engaging element protrudes; and a female element having a support base with a rear surface for leaning and fixing onto the other body and a receiving channel for receiving the engaging element of the male element so that the engaging element, when inserted into the receiving channel, snaps inside it detachably, thus enabling the releasable coupling of the two bodies. The fixing device is configured for selecting two or more different distances along the axis defined by the rear surfaces of the male and female elements when coupled.
Fastening element
A fastening element (10) comprising a screw (1) with a screw head (11) and a sleeve-shaped rivet arrangement (2) through which the screw (1) passes. Starting from the screw head, the rivet arrangement (2) has an installation spacer region (21), a deformation region (22) and a drive region (23) into which the screw is screwed. Seen from the drive region (23) to the screw head, the circumferential boundaries of the drive region (23) lie within the boundaries of the deformation region (22), the boundaries of the installation spacer region (21) protrude radially over the boundaries of the deformation region (22), and the boundaries of the screw head protrude radially over the boundaries of the installation spacer region (21). The installation spacer region (21) and the deformation region (22) are designed in such a manner that, as the screw is tightened, first of all plastic deformation of the deformation region (22) occurs.
WASHER DEVICE
A washer device is disclosed including two annular components each having a main face arranged to contact the main face of the other component. Each main face has surface regions of different levels along an axis of the component, such as a step and/or a helical ramp. Relative rotation of one component with respect to the other about their common axis alters the effective thickness of the washer device. The washer device 1 further includes at least one radial projection on one of the annular components arranged to engage with a corresponding notch on the other annular component such that the annular components may be oriented in predetermined angular positions corresponding to different predetermined effective thicknesses of the washer device.
Tolerance compensator
A disclosed tolerance compensator system reduces or avoids bending of components when the components are fastened to each other, thereby increasing the reliability of the components. The limited number of parts of the tolerance compensator system simplifies manufacturing and reduces costs. A disclosed method for fastening components together using the tolerance compensator system reduces or avoids bending of components, increases the reliability of the components, reduces fastening times, and simplifies fastening procedures.
EXPANDABLE WASHER
An expandable washer for use with a fastener to maintain tension in the fastener after connection to a component comprises first and second disks. The first and second disks cooperatively define a channel having a dimension parallel to the expansion axis which decreases from a location remote from to a location closer to the expansion axis. The first and second disks are configured to pass the fastener through them and to the component. The fastener operatively engages the first disk for moving with the first disk and to place the fastener in tension when the fastener is connected to the component. The expandable washer further includes a cam located radially outward from the expansion axis and biased for movement toward the expansion axis to drive the first and second disks apart to maintain the application of force against the fastener.
Hybrid Washer
A hybrid washer has an essentially disk-shaped body having an outer ring, an inner ring, and a bore extending through the inner ring. The outer ring has an engagement surface having a plurality of wedges with each wedge having a raised edge that extends radially and perpendicularly from a longitudinal axis projecting through the bore. The inner ring has a pair of spaced-apart essentially flat surfaces in overlying relation with one another. The wedges form a plurality of crests contoured to frictionally engage a mating surface from a locking washer to fix the locking washer against the hybrid washer.
System for attaching accessories to one or more trestles
In a system for attaching accessories to one or more trestles, each trestle includes a rail with a saddle secured to the rail, along with a first leg assembly and a second leg assembly that support the rail. A plurality of holes is defined in each saddle, with a threaded insert positioned in each of the plurality of holes. One or more engagement clamps, with each such engagement clamp including a threaded rod passing through one of the plurality of holes in the saddle, are used to attach an accessory to the saddle of each of the one or more trestles.
Bolt compression limiter
A bolt compression limiter includes a Belleville disc that applies a load to a flange of a bolt assembly and a component that applies a load to a limiter positioned within the flange, the limiter being shy of the top surface of the flange. The load applied to the flange is a first proportion and the load applied to the limiter is a second proportion of the total load applied when a bolt of the bolt assembly is tightened.
