RACKING CARABINER
20230235775 · 2023-07-27 ·

A racking carabiner includes a carabiner body with pivot end and nose end portions defining an opening. A gate pivotally connects to the body at the pivot end portion, and pivotable between closed and open positions. A gate retainer can adopt an inoperative condition, in which it presents no restriction to gate movement and an operative position in which it inhibits movement of the gate from a retained-open position towards the closed position. The retainer secures the gate in an open position for as long as it is convenient for the user. The gate clip can be returned to the inoperative condition, whereupon the carabiner gate can be opened and will spring closed as it would in a conventional racking carabiner.

Methods of creating bike rack hooks
11590555 · 2023-02-28 ·

Methods of creating a hook for a bike rack. The methods include the steps of providing a planar metal material, cutting a two-dimensional shape from the planar metal material where the two-dimensional shape defines a hook precursor, forming the hook precursor into a three-dimensional hook where the three-dimensional hook includes a hook face, and adding a protective layer to the hook face. In some examples, the methods include processing the three dimensional hook to remove sharp edges, cutting a mounting point into the hook precursor, cutting a bevel on an edge of the hook precursor to define a beveled edge, and/or cutting a curve on an edge of the hook precursor to define a rounded edge.

A protective key is provided for placing distance between a user and a touch surface or handle, thereby avoiding direct contact between the user's skin and the touch or grab surface. The protective key helps protect the user from exposure to viruses or bacteria that ay be present on the touch or grab surface, The protective key can be formed of an antimicrobial material that resists accumulation of viruses and bacteria.

Hanging System for Garden Tools and Other Implements
20210220986 · 2021-07-22 ·

A hanging system for garden tools and other implements is provided. The hanging system includes a hook member at a proximal end of a handle of a tool. With the hook member, the tool can be suspended from a longitudinal and horizontal support member with the tool head down, and the tool can be slid along the support member while suspended. To retrieve or replace a tool, adjacent tools can be slid along the support member so that they are less likely to become entangled and they do not interfere with removal or replacement of the tool. Because the tool head is located at the bottom, tools are less likely to fall and cause serious injury.

Device for holding a bend area of an elongated, flexible element
20210237217 · 2021-08-05 ·

A device for holding a bend area of an elongated flexible element, such as an electric cable, a rope, a plastic tube or the like has two through-holes placed side by side in a shaped body. At least one of the two holes has a side opening extending to the corresponding peripheral edge of the shaped body, thereby making the hole accessible from the outside.

Insulating carabiner hook and insulating gate for carabiner hook and manufacturing method thereof

An insulating carabiner hook is characterized in that a free end of an insulating gate includes a first insulating section and a second insulating section. A color of the second insulating section is different from a color of the first insulating section. A restricting sleeve could move along an axial direction of the insulating gate. When the free end abuts against an abutting portion of an insulating body, and the restricting sleeve completely covers the second insulating section, the restricting sleeve is located at a safe position and cannot freely pivot. When at least a part of the second insulating section is exposed via the restricting sleeve, the restricting sleeve is located at a warning position. An insulating gate and a manufacturing method thereof are also disclosed.

Wall mountable support

The present invention provides a support for mounting in or on an upright member, the support comprising a first region and a second region, the first and second regions being separated by a bend in the support, the second region having item attachment region. The present support may be used to support an item such as a shelf, or to hang an item therefrom. The support of the present invention is configured so as to be insertable into a channel in an upright member (such as a wall) or into a receiving means that is in turn fixed to or inserted into an upright member. Also provided is a support system comprising a support as described herein, and a substantially upright member comprising a channel extending thereinto, the channel angled into the member, the channel having an upper wall and a lower wall, optionally the upper wall having a recess disposed therein. The channel may be angled downwardly into the member.

Device and method for suspension of a suspended ceiling and a suspended ceiling

A device for suspension of a suspended ceiling, comprising an elongated suspension member (3) having a first end (10) and an opposing second end (11), an anchoring head (4) being arranged at the first end (10); a housing (2) having an open top side (5) and an opposed, closed bottom side (6), the (2) housing defining a housing cavity (7) adapted to be filled with an adhesive (16); and a suspension member holder (8). A passage (9) is provided extending through the closed bottom side (6) of the housing (2), wherein the elongated suspension member (3) in an assembled state of the device extends through the passage (9) with the first end (10) positioned inside the housing cavity (7) and the second end (11) positioned outside the housing cavity (7) and wherein the suspension member holder (8) in the assembled state of the device positions the first end (10) and the thereto arranged anchoring head (4) of the suspension member (3) at a distance H1 from the closed bottom side (6). The invention also relates to a suspended ceiling system comprising such a device as well as a method for suspending a suspended ceiling in a structural ceiling.
