One side surface of the device housing has an opening extending astride the lower housing and the upper housing when the upper housing is positioned on the lower housing. The positioner includes a reference positioning element that is provided toward any one of four corners of a connection area between the lower housing and the upper housing and that has a reference hole provided in one of or each of the lower housing and the upper housing and a positioning reference pin fitted in the reference hole, an anti-rotation element that is provided toward another corner of the four corners excluding the corner near where the reference positioning element is provided and that has an anti-rotation pin provided at one of the lower housing and the upper housing and an anti-rotation hole that is provided in the other one of the lower housing and the upper housing, receives the anti-rotation pin, and suppresses rotation of the upper housing relative to the lower housing about the reference positioning element, and position regulation elements that are respectively provided toward corners, of the four corners, located at opposite sides of the opening such that the one side surface having the opening is interposed between the corners. The position regulation elements individually have position regulation pins provided at one of the lower housing and the upper housing and position regulation holes that are provided in the other one of the lower housing and the upper housing, receive the position regulation pins, and positionally regulate the corners located at the opposite sides of the opening.

Connector for butt-connecting two components

A connector for butt-connecting two chipboard components having two connector parts, which, mutually rotated through 90°, can be pushed together, into one another, into a locked assembly position and are in the form of U-shaped brackets having two outer bracket arms, which respectively have a rear plug-in portion for insertion into a circular drill hole of one component and an expandable front plug-in portion, forming the free bracket end, for insertion into a circular drill hole of the other component. A middle bracket arm is for expansion of the two front plug-in portions of the respectively other bracket in the assembly position. At least one locking portion for the mutual locking of the two brackets in the assembly position is provided. The outer sides of the rear plug-in portions are each configured, at least approximately, as partial lateral surfaces of the same circular cylinder.

The present invention provides a box latch. The box latch is provided with two wedge-shaped pins symmetrically arranged around its center, and the two wedge-shaped pins are movable into a wedge-shaped notch formed by mating parts of two spliced adjacent boxes and mating with the wedge-shaped pin to lock the two adjacent boxes. The two wedge-shaped pins are symmetrically arranged around its center such that only one box latch is required to lock two adjacent boxes together, reducing the number of splicing steps and box latches, further saving manpower and material resources. In addition, the wedge-shaped pin and the wedge-shaped notch are shaped and configured to mate with each other such that self-locking occurs when they are locked, thus providing a stable connection of the boxes.

T-BAYONET JOINT

A flange connector assembly for connecting trim pieces of a vehicle. A first male portion having an end portion connected to a first trim part and a second female portion connected to a trim part end to be attached to the first trim part. The first male portion has a connection portion with a T-shaped cross section and the second portion has a second connecting portion with a T-shaped cavity. The first male connecting portion and the second female connecting portion fit to precisely engage each other and retain the trim portion to be attached. The protruding T-shaped portion includes raised tuning flanges and is capable of adjusting up/down, inboard/outboard or twist fine tuning for providing alignment adjustment to the trim pieces via adjustment of the flange heights in the mold and providing new precisely adjusted T-flanges for providing a tuned butt connection of a trim strip for instance.

SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR SECURING STRUCTURES

Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for securing structures. One fastener includes a threaded body and a head. The head includes a rounded axial protrusion having a first radial diameter, and a noncircular radial portion for securing the fastener. The noncircular radial portion has a second radial diameter greater than the first radial diameter. The noncircular radial portion is positioned between the threaded body and the rounded axial protrusion.
