The clamp assembly is configured with one or more pins that may be formed in a substantially elongated cylindrical shape. The pins may be configured to be received in one or more push-pin holes formed in the mounting body, whereby the push-pin holes extend to the slot from a side surface of push-pin holes. The clamp assembly includes a fastening element adapted to be received in a fastener hole formed adjacent the push-pin holes in the side surface of the mounting body. The fastening element is configured to secure, attach and hold the clamp assembly to the standing seam by forcing the pins against the raised portion of the surface disposed in the slot.
LOCKING MECHANISM FOR DETACHABLE FRAME
A locking mechanism for detachable frames includes at least one detachable frame having at least one retaining through-hole; an edge connector having a left protrusion and a right protrusion, the left and right protrusions engaged with the retaining through-holes; and a locking retainer having a left retaining wall and a right retaining wall, the left and right retaining walls slidably coupled with the left protrusion and the right protrusion.
CLAMP ASSEMBLY USING PINS
A versatile clamp assembly that may be used for securing a device generally to an edge of a structure such as a raised portion of a standing seam of a metal roof. The assembly comprises a mounting body with an open loop having a slot for receiving the raised portion formed by the mounting body attaching the clamp assembly thereto. The assembly is configured with one or more pins that may be configured to be received in one or more push-pin openings formed in the mounting body, whereby the push-pin openings extend from a fastener base portion to a second arm portion. The assembly includes a fastener adapted to be received in a fastener opening formed adjacent the push-pin openings. The fastener is configured to secure and hold the clamp assembly to the standing seam by forcing the pins against the raised portion of the surface disposed in the slot.
Universal fastener for decking
A fastener for attaching grooved decking planks to a support member has a body defining an attachment opening spacing apart opposing legs extending from a shoulder. The legs have at least one frontward extending prong. The rear end of the body includes a bend transitioning to a lip. The front end may have downward extending teeth. A nose may extend from the front end while a tail may extend from the rear end of the body. Adjacent fasteners may be joined by their respective noses and tails to form a collated series of fasteners.
Locking assembly for securing one or more building elements in a building system
A locking assembly (100) for securing one or more building elements in a building system is disclosed herein. The locking assembly (100) comprises: a first component (110) adapted for engagement to the building system, the first component (110) including a first locking portion (112) defining a first surface profile; a second component (120) including a second locking portion (122) defining a second surface profile corresponding to the first surface profile of the first locking portion (112), the second locking portion (122) being adapted for engagement with the first locking portion (112); and a third component (130) having a first end and a second end, the first end being adapted for engagement with the second locking portion (122) of the second component (120), wherein the third component (130) is resiliently deformable from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration under application of force to the third component (130), wherein in the locked configuration, the second locking portion (122) is engaged to the first locking portion (112) so as to secure the first component (110) to the second component (120), and in the unlocked configuration, the second locking portion (122) is disengaged from the first locking portion (112).
Technologies for interlocking structures
A device includes a first unit and a second unit. The first unit comprises a first C-shaped portion, a first bridge portion, and a first U-shaped portion. The first U-shaped portion comprises a first projection extending therefrom. The second unit comprises a second C-shaped portion, a second bridge portion, and a second U-shaped portion. The second U-shaped portion comprises a second projection extending therefrom. The first projection interlocks with the second projection when the first C-shaped portion and the second C-shaped portion are fastened to a plate.
TANK COVER AND COVER SYSTEMS
A cover assembly generally includes a lock channel, flush mounted panels, a fastener, and a nut. Advantageously, the cover and cover systems are corrosion resistant and/or high strength, comprised of removable panels, offer easy installation and access, may be high strength fiber reinforced plastic, offer life cycle cost savings, may be compression sealed, have long relatively maintenance-free life, and/or are customizable.
CLAMP FOR STANDING SEAM
A clamp assembly that may be used for securing to a raised portion of a surface. The clamp assembly comprising a mounting body of a general block shape having a slot for receiving the raised portion formed in a bottom surface of the mounting body attaching the clamp assembly thereto.
