The projection may include one of a convex or a concave geometry. The system includes a positioning member provided over the support member for receiving a frame member. The positioning member may be movable over the support member, and the positioning member may include a geometry configured to engage the one of the convex or the concave geometry. The frame member may be movable from a first position relative to a center of the projection to a second position relative to the center of the projection during movement of the positioning member over the support member.
UNIVERSAL CASTINGS FOR RECTANGULAR TUBE CORNER STRESS RELEIF
A gusset structure includes a body having a plate contacting end forming a plate mating surface, and extending from the plate contacting end to a distal end. The body defines a tube mating surface extending between the plate contacting end and the distal end. The plate mating surface engages a plate. The tube mating surface includes a first surface portion and a second surface portion forming an interior surface angle therebetween. The interior surface angle has a vertex disposed on a vertex axis, which intersects the plate mating surface. The first surface portion engages a first side wall of an elongate member. The second surface portion engages a second side wall of the elongate member. The body flares outward from the distal end toward the plate contacting end to distribute stress in the plate from the corner of the elongate member over a larger area.
CONNECTING ELEMENT FOR THE NON-DETACHABLE CONNECTION OF AT LEAST TWO COMPONENTS AND COMPOSITE ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to a connecting element for non-detachably connecting at least two components by means of friction welding when the connecting element is rotated about a longitudinal axis of the connecting element. The connecting element includes a stem formed along the longitudinal axis with a stem face at a free end of the stem for penetrating at least one component, and a head connected to the stem for transmitting a torque about the longitudinal axis from a turning tool to the stem. The stem face has a stem end face which has a convex envelope with a blunt shape.
CORNER CONNECTION FOR SUPPORT ELEMENTS OF A CABLEWAY CABIN
A corner connection is provided between support elements of a cableway cabin. The corner connection has a support element (1), designed as an elongated strut having a hollow end (2), and an angled connecting element (3) having a connecting piece (4). The connecting piece (4) is insertable into the hollow end (2) of the support element (1) in a form-fitting manner. An inner shape of the hollow end (2) and an outer shape of the connecting piece (4) have an angular design. At least two oppositely situated surfaces of the hollow end (2) and the connecting piece (4) are provided in a form-fitting manner in such a way that a gap (14, 14) remains between the inner surface (10, 10) of the hollow end (2) and the outer surface (9, 9) of the connecting piece (4), wherein an adhesive material is provided in the gap (14, 14).
Method for manufacture of a multi-layer plate device
A method for the joining of ceramic pieces with a hermetically sealed joint comprising brazing a layer of joining material between the two pieces. The wetting and flow of the joining material is controlled by the selection of the joining material, the joining temperature, the joining atmosphere, and other factors. The ceramic pieces may be aluminum nitride and the pieces may be brazed with an aluminum alloy under controlled atmosphere. The joint material is adapted to later withstand both the environments within a process chamber during substrate processing, and the oxygenated atmosphere which may be seen within the shaft of a heater or electrostatic chuck.
ALIGNMENT OF FRAME MEMBERS IN WELDED ASSEMBLIES
A system for improving alignment in welded assemblies is provided. The system includes a support member having a surface and a projection extending from the surface.
Low Temperature Method For Hermetically Joining Non-Diffusing Ceramic Materials In Multi-Layer Plate Devices
A method for the joining of ceramic pieces with a hermetically sealed joint comprising brazing a layer of joining material between the two pieces. The wetting and flow of the joining material is controlled by the selection of the joining material, the joining temperature, the joining atmosphere, and other factors. The ceramic pieces may be on a non-diffusable type, such as aluminum nitride, alumina, beryllium oxide, and zirconia, and the pieces may be brazed with an aluminum alloy under controlled atmosphere. The joint material is adapted to later withstand both the environments within a process chamber during substrate processing, and the oxygenated atmosphere which may be seen within the shaft of a heater or electrostatic chuck.
Connector for concrete barriers
Provided are a connector and a connection system for concrete barriers. The connector is configured to slip-fit into a cross-shaped gap formed between the concrete barriers. The connector includes a saddle member and a fork member. The saddle member includes a base plate and peripheral plates. The peripheral plates extend at angles from the base plate to define a channel extending along the length of the base plate. The fork member extends from the base plate of the saddle member. The fork member includes an elongated base, flanges, and legs. The elongated base extends in the channel between the peripheral plates at least along the width of the base plate. The flanges are transverse to the elongated base forming a cross-shaped structure disposed in the channel with the flanges that extend toward the open ends of the channel. The legs extend separately from the elongated base.
FOOT PLATE
A foot plate, a foot plate and post assembly and method of using. The post has a first exterior side, a second exterior side, a third exterior side, a fourth exterior side, and a bottom edge. The foot plate has a top surface, a bottom surface and an opening having a first interior side corresponding to the first exterior side of a post, a second interior side corresponding to the second exterior side of the post, a third interior side corresponding to the third exterior side of the post, and a fourth interior side corresponding to the fourth exterior side of the post, wherein the opening fits around the post such that the foot plate is unable to rotate around the post but the bottom edge of the post can be aligned with the bottom surface of the foot plate. One or more connections secure the bottom surface of the foot plate to the bottom edge of the post. A weld secures the top surface of the foot plate to the post.
