Sensor bearing housing
A sensor bearing housing assembly for use with or integrally formed with a bearing housing. The bearing housing having a base portion defining a footprint, a shaft receiving collar, and a bearing race disposed between the shaft receiving collar and the bearing housing. The sensor bearing housing assembly having a pair of lengthwise sidewalls configured to extend upward from the base portion and an endwise sidewall configured to extend upward from the base portion. The pair of lengthwise sidewalls and the endwise sidewall being joined to form a sensor volume for receiving a sensor therein generally defined within a vertical volume bounded by the footprint of the base portion. The sensor bearing housing assembly having a cutout formed in at least one of the pair of lengthwise sidewalls and the pair of endwise sidewall to permit access to a fastener extending through a mounting hole formed in the base portion.
BEARING DEVICE, SPINDLE DEVICE, BEARING AND SPACER
A bearing device includes: at least one bearing that has a rolling element and a raceway surface to support a main shaft; a member disposed on a path through which pressing force generating a preload between the rolling element and the raceway surface is transmitted; and at least one load sensor element fixed to the member to measure the pressing force. At least one load sensor element is a chip component including a thin film pattern of which resistance changes according to the pressing force and a protective layer that insulates and protects thin film pattern.
Rolling bearing
A rolling bearing includes an outer ring as a fixed ring, an inner ring as a rotary ring, and rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring. The outer ring includes, on the radially opposite side of its raceway surface, a fitting surface fitted to a mating member, two annular grooves in which elastic members are fitted, and a recess adjacent to the annular grooves, and the recess has a bottom surface having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the fitting surface.
DISCHARGE DEVICE FOR DISCHARGING AN ELECTRICAL CHARGE FROM A ROTOR OF AN ELECTRIC MOTOR
A discharge device for discharging an electrical charge and/or voltage from a rotor of an electric motor via a shaft from a first discharge partner to a second discharge partner, the discharge device including a support body device, wherein the support body device includes a connecting portion for electrical and mechanical connection to one of the discharge partners and expanding portions for expanding the connection of the support body device to the one of the discharge partners, wherein the expanding portions include the connecting portion.
GROUNDING APPARATUS HAVING AN AIR PASSAGE, AND ELECTRICAL DRIVE ASSEMBLY HAVING THE GROUNDING APPARATUS
A grounding apparatus for an electrical drive assembly configured for conducting an electrical charge and/or voltage from a rotor of an electric motor via a shaft as a first grounding partner to a second grounding partner. The grounding apparatus has: a supporting body device with a connecting section for electrical and mechanical connection to one of the grounding partners, and a supporting section; a contacting device having a contacting section for electrical connection to the other of the grounding partners, the contacting device having an attachment section and being connected to the supporting section of the supporting body device via the attachment section. The grounding apparatus bridges an annular gap between one grounding partner and the other, and the grounding apparatus has at least one opening which forms or helps to form an air passage in the annular gap in an axial direction.
SENSORIZED HUB BEARING UNIT FOR VEHICLES
A sensorized hub bearing unit having at least one strain sensor for detecting, in real time, forces and moments applied to an outer ring of the hub bearing unit, in which a radially outer ring of the hub bearing unit is formed by a coupling of a first annular element and a second annular element arranged coaxially, the second annular element radially fitted and integrally inside the first annular element and at least one strain sensor arranged in line with an interface between the first annular element and the second annular element.
FOLLOWER BEARING
A follower bearing 1 includes: a shaft 30 having an outer peripheral surface including an annular first raceway surface 11; an outer ring 60 having an inner peripheral surface including an annular second raceway surface 41 facing the first raceway surface 11; and a plurality of rollers 70 disposed on an annular raceway along the first raceway surface 11 and the second raceway surface 41 to be in contact with the first raceway surface 11 and the second raceway surface 41. The outer ring 60 includes an annular first member 40 made of steel and an annular second member 50 made of a resin and covering outer peripheral surfaces 44A and 44B of the first member 40. The first member 40 includes a cylindrical portion 42 having a hollow cylindrical shape and including the second raceway surface, and a projection 43 extending radially outward from the cylindrical portion 42. Ends of the projection 43 in the axial direction are filled with the second member 50.
BEARING DEVICE WITH INTEGRATED ELECTRICAL INSULATION, IN PARTICULAR FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR OR MACHINE
A bearing device includes a bearing having a first ring and a second ring mounted for relative rotation, and an insulating sleeve mounted on the second ring. The insulating sleeve includes a socket and an electrically insulating liner that contacts the second ring. The second ring has a radial outer surface and a radial inner surface delimiting a radial thickness of the second ring, and the insulating liner is overmolded on the socket and at least on one of the inner and outer surfaces of the second ring of the bearing. Also, the surface of the second ring is configured to retain, in the circumferential direction, the insulating liner relative to the surface by complementarity of shapes with the insulating liner.
