The zinc alloy has excellent temperature resistance and surfaces produced by machining have a considerably reduced surface roughness.
Greasable bearing assembly
A greasable bearing assembly may include an outer ring, an inner ring disposed within, and concentric with, the outer ring, and a plurality of balls disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring. A greasable seal may be disposed adjacent the outer ring and the inner ring, the greasable seal further comprising a toroidal shape comprising an outer face and an inner face. An outer ring-shaped surface may extend from the outer face to the inner face. An inner ring-shaped surface may extend from the outer face to the inner face. An intake opening may be disposed through the greasable seal and extend from the outer ring-shaped surface to the inner face. A securing member may be formed as a lip at the inner face to mateably couple between the inner ring and the outer ring.
WIND TURBINE GEARBOX AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A WIND TURBINE GEARBOX
A wind turbine gearbox, in particular planetary gearbox, has at least one gear which is mounted on an axle, wherein a sliding surface is arranged between the gear and the axle. The sliding surface is arranged on at least one layer of a deposition welded material made from a sliding bearing material. Furthermore, a method produces the wind turbine gearbox.
High-tensile brass alloy and high-tensile brass alloy product
A special brass alloy containing 62.5 to 65% by weight Cu, 2.0 to 2.4% by weight Mn, 0.7 to 0.9% by weight Ni, 1.9 to 2.3% by weight Al, 0.35 to 0.65% by weight Si, 0.3 to 0.6% by weight Fe, 0.18 to 0.4% by weight Sn and Cr, either alone or in combination, ≤0.1% by weight Pb, the remainder consisting of Zn and inevitable impurities.
Sintered bearing and method for manufacturing sintered bearing
A sintered bearing is made of a sintered compact containing nickel silver (Cu—Ni—Zn) as a base. In the sintered bearing, P is not added in the sintered compact. Alternatively, a content of P in the sintered compact is less than 0.05 mass % in terms of mass ratio to a total mass. Consequently, crystal grains constituting the sintered compact can be micronized. In particular, in the sintered bearing, an average crystal particle diameter of the crystal grains constituting the sintered compact is 20 μm or less. Consequently, the mechanical strength and the vibration resisting properties can be improved, and the rotation shaft can be prevented from being damaged.
Wear-resistant copper-zinc alloy and mechanical device using same
A wear-resistant copper-zinc alloy includes in mass %, 28 to 55% Zn, 0.5 to 2% P, and a balance of Cu and unavoidable impurities, and the wear-resistant copper-zinc alloy has an electrical conductivity of 10 to 33% IACS and a hardness of 3.6[Zn]-55 HBW or more, where [Zn] denotes the Zn content in mass %. Alternatively, a wear-resistant copper-zinc alloy includes in mass %, 40 to 55% Zn, 1 to 6% Mn, and a balance of Cu and unavoidable impurities, and the wear-resistant copper-zinc alloy has an electrical conductivity of 10 to 33% IACS and a hardness of 3.6[Zn]-55 HBW or more, where [Zn] denotes the Zn content in mass %.
Sintered oil-impregnated bearing
Provided is a novel sintered oil-impregnated bearing superior in wear resistance and cost performance under a severe use condition where the bearing collides with a shaft due to a high load and vibration, such as a condition associated with an output shaft of an electric motor installed in a vehicle and a wiper motor installed therein. The sintered oil-impregnated bearing contains: 15 to 30% by mass of Cu; 1 to 4% by mass of C; and a remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities, in which a metal structure with copper being melted therein is provided at least on a bearing surface; pearlite or a pearlite with ferrite being partially scattered therein is provided in a matrix; a copper-rich phase arranged in a mesh-like manner is also provided in the matrix; and a free graphite is dispersed and distributed in the matrix as well.
