Milking platform
A rotary milking platform 1 has a deck 2, a circular upper beam 4 connected to and supporting the deck, a circular lower beam 6 and a series of carriages 5 connected end to end to form a ring between the beams. The platform is formed such that the upper beam 4 is arranged to rest and rotate on the ring of carriages 5 to rotate the deck 2. Each carriage has at least one carriage roller 10, and each roller 10 arranged to rotate on the lower beam 4. Each roller 10 also has a retention flange 11 at only one side. The flanges 11 of some of the rollers 10 are at or adjacent an inner side of the ring, and the flanges 11 of others of the rollers are at or adjacent an outer side of the ring. The rollers 10 of the ring are arranged such that at least one roller is oriented with its flange 11 on an opposite side to another of the flanged rollers immediately adjacent to it. The flanges prevent the carriages from moving off the lower beam 4 when the platform 1 is in use. Further, at least some of the carriages can be disconnected from the ring and swung laterally to be moved free of the beams 4, 6 for maintenance, repair or replacement.
Positioning unit for technical applications in motor vehicles
A positioning unit for technical applications in motor vehicles, in particular a locking system, a door positioner or a sliding door drive, having a housing, a drive arranged in the housing, a control element which can be acted upon by the drive, and a bearing location for the drive, in which the bearing location is formed at least partly of plastic, wherein the bearing is designed as a separate bearing location, and at least part of the drive is insertable into the bearing location.
BEARING LAMINATE COMPRISING A FOAM LAYER
A bearing laminate can include a metal support layer, a foam layer overlying the metal support layer, the foam layer including a polymeric foam; and a sliding layer overlying the polymeric foam layer, the sliding layer comprising a polymer matrix. Bearing articles made from the bearing laminate can have exceptional damping properties, such as a high damping ratio combined with a low dynamic stiffness.
Elastic roller
An elastic roller is capable of elastic deformation at low load, lightweight and low-cost, and the surface speed of the roller has been made stable. At a drawing showing the view from the side of pipe 2 and flange 3 which make up roller 1, roller 1 which has pipe 2 and flange 3 is supported by shaft 8 which is inserted therein along axis 8a of shaft 8, the situation being such that elastic deformation occurs upon being pressed downward by pressure P from pressure-applying body 11 above pipe. None of the four outermost ribs 7a disposed in outermost gap 6a between outermost ring 4a of flange 3 and middle ring 4b which is mutually adjacent thereto and toward the interior therefrom is present in the upper portion of pipe 2.
Slide out roller
The slide-out roller consists of an inner thermoplastic core and a semi-rigid over-molded urethane cover with the Inner core having two sets of radially spaced recessed channels formed in its outer surface. The over-molded cover wraps the outer surface of the inner core and fully impregnates the recessed channels, which allows the cover to interdigitate and structurally integrate with the inner core to prevent slippage and drift.
Adjustable linking arm assembly
A linking arm assembly adapted to receive and retain a ball stud. The assembly includes an elongated rod structure and a socket head and is variable over a range of lengths by adjustment of the relative position of the elongated rod structure and the socket head. Linking arm assemblies consistent with the present disclosure may be adjusted for use in different applications while using common components.
Support for solar energy collection
A solar energy collection system can include support devices made with bearings. Such bearings can include an inner partially toroidal surface for sliding contact and support of an outer surface of a torque tube. The toroidal surface can be made with a single radius of curvature or multiple radiuses of curvature and cylindrical portions. The bearings can include connectors for connecting the bearing members to a support housing. The connectors can be tool-less connectors.

The first coating film layer including a coating film including a composition for a sliding member. The composition for a sliding member contains a binder resin, a solid lubricant, and at least one type of resin beads selected from the group consisting of amino resin beads and urethane resin beads. The second coating film layer includes the binder resin and the solid lubricant.
Corrosion protecting layer system, corrosion protected bearing component and method for protecting a bearing component against corrosion
A corrosion-protecting layer system, e.g., for a bearing component used in a wind turbine, includes a base layer that contains polyurethane, zinc, and vinylphosphonic acid or silane. An intermediate layer is formed on the base layer and contains polyurethane and zinc. A top layer is formed on the intermediate layer and contains polyurethane and micaceous iron oxide. A sealing layer is formed on the top layer and contains polyurethane.
Sliding bearing
Provided is a sliding bearing capable of reducing the number of components and reducing costs. This sliding bearing (1) is provided with; an upper case (2); a lower case (3) combined with the upper case (2); and an annular dust seal-integrated center plate (8) that has a dust seal part (6) for covering a gap between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3), is disposed between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3), and enables relative rotation between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3). The dust seal-integrated center plate (8) is integrally formed with the lower case (3).
