Flutter resistant caster
A vehicle may include a flutter resistant caster. The vehicle may include a frame, a drive wheel coupled to the frame, a caster housing coupled to the frame, a caster, a locking element, a first bearing, and a biasing element. The caster housing may include an opening. The caster may include a caster wheel and a caster stem extending through the opening in the caster housing. The caster stem may be configured to rotate relative to the caster housing. The locking element may be coupled to the caster stem. The first bearing may be coupled to the caster stem. The biasing element may be coupled to the caster stem. The biasing element may be configured to exert a force on the first bearing.
PULLEY AND STRUCTURE HAVING THE SAME CONNECTED WITH DRIVEN UNIT
A pulley and a structure having the pulley connected with a driven unit are provided. The pulley includes a wheel portion and a lug portion. The wheel portion includes two circular end surfaces opposing each other and a side surface connecting the two end surfaces. The side surface includes a main arc face and a branch arc face. The branch arc face has a head end connected to the main arc face and a tail end configured to connect a strap. The branch arc face has a width in an axial direction of the wheel portion smaller than a width of the main arc face. The lug portion is fixed to the wheel portion, disposed at a position adjacent to the branch arc face along the width of the main arc face and extends to protrude beyond the branch arc face in a radial direction of the wheel portion.
Hollow stranded wire
A hollow stranded wire (2) has a first layers (4) and second layers (6). The second layer is located outside the first layer. The first layer is formed by twisting eight first element wires (8) which are flat wires. The second layer is formed by twisting eight second element wires (10) which are flat wires. A ratio (Ww/Tw) of a width Ww to a thickness Tw of each flat wire is from 2 to 11. A twisting direction of the second element wires is opposite that of the first element wires. A twisting angle of each first element wire is not greater than 85°. A twisting angle of each second element wire is not greater than 85°. A ratio (D/T) of an average diameter D to a thickness T of the hollow stranded wire is not less than 5 and not greater than 20.
GANTRY ASSEMBLY BEARING WITH ANNULAR DAMPER
A gantry assembly includes a rotor rotatable about a central axis, a stator fixed with respect to the axis and a bearing inner ring connected with the rotor and having an outer circumferential surface providing a least one inner raceway and two opposing axial end. A bearing outer ring is disposed about the inner ring and has an inner circumferential surface providing at least one outer raceway, first and second axial ends, an annular recess extending axially inwardly from the first axial end, and a plurality of threaded mounting holes extending axially-inwardly from the recess and spaced circumferentially about the central axis. An annular damper is disposed within the recess and a plurality of threaded fasteners each extend from the stator, through the damper and into a separate one of the plurality of threaded mounting holes to connect the bearing outer ring with the stator.
Bearing and medical device
Provided are a bearing and a medical device in which a gap is secured between an inner ring and an outer ring, and the gap can be used as a flow path for a fluid or an object. A bearing having a plurality of rolling elements between an inner ring and an outer ring is provided with a raceway surface on which the rolling elements roll on the outer ring and receiving portions for rotatably accommodating the rolling elements at a position of the inner ring facing the raceway surface.
SLIDING MEMBER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A sliding member which has low sliding resistance, can prevent the leakage of a liquid, has low dust emission properties and low leachability, and can be manufactured in a simple manner; and a method for manufacturing the sliding member. The sliding member includes an elastic molded body which is coated with a coating layer composition containing an amino-modified silicone compound having a silanol group and/or an alkoxysilyl group and also having an amino-containing group in a side chain. The method for manufacturing the sliding member includes the steps of: preparing the coating layer composition containing the amino-modified silicone compound having the silanol group and/or the alkoxysilyl group and also having the amino-containing group in a side chain; applying the coating layer composition to the elastic molded body; and coating the elastic molded body with the coating layer composition.
Flex joint lock button
A button lock that selectively retains the angle of an object relative to a handle. The button lock is rotatable between an engaged position, where the angle is retained, and a disengaged position, where the object is disengaged from the handle and can pivotally move about the handle to change the angle. In the engaged position, button teeth on the button engage with handle teeth on the handle. In the disengaged position, the button teeth disengage the handle teeth to space the button from the handle and therefore allow free movement of the handle about the button. The button therefore quickly and easily retains the angle between the object and the handle.
Gantry assembly bearing with vibration damping
A gantry assembly includes a rotor, a stator and a bearing for coupling the rotor and the stator. The bearing includes an inner ring connected with the rotor or stator, an outer ring connected with the other one of the rotor and the stator and rolling elements between the two rings. The ring connected with the stator, preferably the outer ring, includes one or more damping washers disposed between the ring and the stator, each washer being disposed about one threaded fastener connecting the ring with the stator. Also, one or more damping cylinders are each disposed within a mounting hole of the ring connected with the stator and about a threaded fastener disposed within the hole. The bearing ring connected with the rotor may also include damping washers between the ring and the rotor or/and damping cylinders disposed within mounting holes receiving fasteners connecting the ring with the rotor.
