A magnetic geared rotary electric machine includes: a casing; a stator which includes a stator core, a coil, and a stator magnet provided inside the stator core; a first rotor which includes pole pieces provided inside the stator; a second rotor which includes a rotor core provided inside the first rotor and rotor magnets provided in the rotor core at intervals in a circumferential direction; movable bearings which are provided in the casing so as to be arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction and which come into contact with at least one of outer peripheral surfaces of the first rotor and the second rotor; and actuators which move the movable bearings in a direction included in a plane orthogonal to an axis.
BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR, AND ELECTRIC MOTOR
Disclosed is a bearing assembly for an electric motor for a vehicle, providing at least one main bearing configured to support a rotational element of the electric motor, and a sacrificial bearing. The main bearing includes at least one inner ring, at least one outer ring and at least one plurality of rolling elements. The sacrificial bearing provides an outer ring, an inner ring, and a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring. A value of a breakdown voltage for the sacrificial bearing is less than a value of the breakdown voltage for the at least one main bearing.
BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR, AND ELECTRIC MOTOR
A bearing assembly for an electric motor for a vehicle, having at least one main bearing configured to support a rotational element of the electric motor, and a sacrificial bearing. The main bearing includes at least one inner ring having at least one inner raceway, at least one outer ring having at least one out raceway, and at least one plurality of rolling elements disposed between the raceways. The sacrificial bearing provides an outer ring having an outer raceway, an inner ring having an inner raceway, and a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring. The sacrificial bearing is provided with an electrically conductive lubricant configured to lubricate the rolling elements of the sacrificial bearing. The main bearing is provided with an isolating lubricant configured to lubricate the rolling elements of the main bearing, wherein the isolating lubricant is electrically isolating.
Motor System and Compressor Equipped Therewith
To provide a motor system that can control the position of a control object in multiple directions while suppressing the number of required switching elements. A motor system includes: a power conversion device including first, second, and third up-down arms each including two switching elements connected in series; a control object; and a first load including a magnetic pole tooth facing the control object, and a winding wound around the magnetic pole tooth. The motor system includes a second load including two magnetic pole teeth facing each other in a second direction with the control object therebetween, and a winding wound around one or both of the magnetic pole teeth. The power conversion device provides a force with respect to a first direction to the control object through an output to the first load, and provides a force with respect to the second direction to the control object through an output to the second load.
Ball-Socket Type Tilting Pad Journal Bearing
A ball-socket type tilting pad journal bearing configured to reduce friction between a tilting pad and a pivot includes a housing body, a plurality of tilting pads disposed inside the housing body, and a plurality of pivots fixed on an inner surface of the housing body. An oil collection unit for collecting oil is provided in at least one of an outer circumferential surface of each of the pivots and a socket of each of the tilting pads.
Generator module
A generator module includes a housing arranged for mounting to a rear face of an internal combustion engine, a generator stator fixed in the housing, a generator rotor arranged radially inside of the generator stator, and a bearing arranged to support a radial inside of the generator rotor on the housing. The generator rotor may include a rotor carrier and a plurality of stacked plates secured to the rotor carrier. The bearing may be at least partially radially aligned with the plurality of stacked plates.
Bearing element having polymeric coating and method of application of polymeric coating to bearing element for electrical insulation
A method of providing electrical insulation for at least one portion of a bearing element is disclosed herein. The method includes electrostatically spraying a polymer coating to the at least one portion of the bearing element, and the polymer coating comprises a thermoset epoxy coating or a self-adhering nylon powder coating. The bearing element can be grounded during the electrostatic spraying. The method includes heating the polymer coating in an oven at a temperature less than or equal to 220° C. for a predetermined time, such that after removal from the oven, the polymer coating has a porosity of less than 10%. The coated bearing element has a resistance of at least 50 MΩ resistance under dry conditions and 10 MΩ resistance under wet conditions.
ACTIVE MAGNETIC BEARING APPARATUS
An active magnetic bearing apparatus for supporting a rotor of a rotary machine comprises an axial magnetic bearing unit and a radial magnetic bearing unit mounted directly to one another. One of the axial magnetic bearing unit and the radial magnetic bearing unit is mounted to a support for attachment to a housing of the rotary machine.
ELECTRIC WORK MACHINE
An electric work machine, such as a lawn mower includes a motor case (22) fixed inside a main-body housing (10). A brushless motor (21) is housed inside the motor case (22) and includes a stator (23) having a stator core (40), coils (45), and upper and lower insulators (42, 43), and a rotor (24) disposed inward of the stator (23) and having a rotary shaft (25). A spindle (17) is driven by the rotary shaft (25). The motor case (22) holds the stator (23) and axially supports the rotary shaft (25) via bearings (68, 76). One or more insulating members, such as an insulating cap (67) and/or a resin layer (78), provide electrical insulation between the stator core (40) and the rotary shaft (25).
ELECTRIC MOTOR
An electric motor has a stator and a rotor which is arranged on a motor shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. The motor shaft is rotatably mounted about a rotational axis in at least one rolling bearing within a motor housing. The rolling bearing is arranged in a bearing shield in a bearing receiving area, the outer ring of the rolling bearing is pretensioned by a spring disc which sits in the bearing receiving area in a fixed manner to the housing, and the spring disc has an opening and a number of spring elements raised axially towards the outer ring in a disc body surrounding the opening.
