SEAL DEVICE
A seal device 1 includes first seal part facing an external fluid and second seal part arranged in parallel to the first seal part and facing a sealed fluid in an interior of equipment to prevent entry of the external fluid and leakage of a sealed fluid. Intermediate seal part is arranged in parallel to the first seal part and the second seal part between the first seal part and the second seal part. A gas chamber is formed between the first seal part and the intermediate seal part, to which a gas having a higher pressure than the external fluid is supplied. An intermediate chamber is formed between the intermediate seal part and the second seal part, to which a gas having a lower pressure than the gas supplied to the gas chamber and having lower pressure than the sealed fluid is supplied.
SLIDING COMPONENTS
A sliding surface of the sliding component is provided with a communication groove having a start point communicating with a sealed fluid side in a radial direction, a storage groove communicating with the communication groove, and a plurality of dynamic pressure generation grooves generating a dynamic pressure at end points thereof upon a run of the rotating machine and the dynamic pressure generation grooves are located on a side of the sealed fluid side space with respect to the storage groove in the radial direction.
Sliding parts
A pair of sliding parts has sliding faces S that slide with respect to each other in which at least the sliding face S on one side includes dimple groups 20 formed by arranging plural dimples 10, and the dimples 10 are arranged in such a manner that a radial-direction coordinate average of center coordinates of the dimples 10 of the dimple group 20 is smaller than a sliding radius Rm of the sliding face S. The sliding parts can improve a characteristic of suctioning from the leakage side to sliding faces, thereby providing excellent sealing property.
Bearing packing and feed pump
A bearing packing according to the invention includes a first packing having an opening portion formed therein, the opening portion allowing a rotary shaft to penetrate through the first packing, and a second packing having an opening portion formed therein, the opening portion allowing the rotary shaft to penetrate through the second packing, and configured to be brought into engagement with the first packing in a direction of the rotary shaft, and a sealed space for sealing a hydrophobic fluid in is defined around a circumference of the rotary shaft that is surrounded by the first packing and the second packing.
Sliding component
In an exemplary embodiment, a sliding component includes a pair of sliding parts 4 and 7 sliding relatively to each other and having sliding faces S formed radially for sealing a liquid or a misty fluid as a sealed fluid against leakage. One sliding part is a stationary-side seal ring 7, and the other sliding part is a rotating-side seal ring 4. At least one of the sliding faces S is provided with positive pressure generation mechanisms 11 having positive pressure generation grooves 12 configured to communicate with a circumferential edge of the sliding face S on the sealed-fluid side and not to communicate with a circumferential edge on the leakage side, and discharge grooves 10 disposed at an angle such that upstream ends are located on the leakage side and downstream ends are located on the sealed-fluid side.
Bearing structure and turbocharger
Provided is a bearing structure including: a shaft; a first opposed surface, which is formed on the shaft or a member mounted to the shaft; a first bearing portion, which is opposed to the first opposed surface from one end side of the shaft; a second opposed surface, which is formed on the shaft or the member mounted to the shaft, and is positioned on the one end side of the shaft with respect to the first opposed surface and the first bearing portion; and a second bearing portion, which is opposed to the second opposed surface from the one end side of the shaft.
Sliding component
In an embodiment, in a sliding component, a sliding face of a stationary-side seal ring 6 has a fluid circulation groove 10 communicating with a high-pressure fluid side via an entrance portion 10a and an exit portion 10b. A rotating-side seal ring 5 has a larger outer diameter and a smaller inner diameter than the seal ring 6. A groove 15 into which a claw is loosely fitted is provided on an outer periphery of the seal ring 5. A width of the groove 15 is smaller than a distance between the portion 10a and the 10b in the circumferential direction. WMR/WSR is set within a range of 0.75<WMR/WSR<1.4 (WMR is a face width between an inner diameter of the groove 15 and an inner diameter 6b of the sliding face; WSR is a face width of the sliding face).
LUBRICATED SLIDING BEARING WITH ADJUSTMENT OF THE PROPERTIES OF THE LUBRICANT IN CERTAIN PARTS OF THE BEARING GAP
The invention relates to a bearing device comprising a first surface and a second surface which are moveable relative to one another, wherein the first and second surfaces are separated by a bearing gap filled with a lubricant, which is a magnetorheological or electrorheological liquid, or a lubricant having a temperature dependent viscosity, or a lubricant having a controllable slip velocity. The bearing device further comprising one or more supply inlets in the first or second surface, and one or more activators embedded in the first surface or second surface and configured to locally increase a viscosity or decrease the slip velocity of the lubricant in at least one obstruction zone, thereby inhibiting a flow of the lubricant in the obstruction zone.
Bearing and sealing arrangement for joints in heavy duty vehicles
A bearing and seal arrangement for joints in heavy duty vehicles includes two spherical bearing each having an outer ring surrounding an inner member with lubricious liner disposed therebetween. One of the spherical bearings has a seal receiving area having an axially extending width that is greater than that of the other spherical bearing. The spherical bearings are aligned coaxially with one another. One seal receiving areas has a flexible double lipped annular seal and a scraper seal positioned therein. The scraper seal is positioned axially outward from the flexible double lipped annular seal. The other seal receiving area has a boot seal positioned therein.
