Dual Concentric Drive Method and Apparatus
A dual bushing and hub assembly for mounting sheaves, sprockets, gears, couplings and similar machine elements on a shaft, wherein two types of tapered bushings are used, the bushings are used within a single hub which is compatible with both bushings. The dual bushing locking screws for tightening the bushings securely in place on the shaft and in the hub bore are both accessible from the same side of the hub.
DOUBLE SUCTION PUMP
A disclosed submersible pump apparatus includes a three-dimensional frame, a pump housing, a drive shaft, an impeller, and first and second motors. The impeller is mounted on the driveshaft within the pump housing and is driven by one or both of the motors. The first motor is connected to a first end of the drive shaft and the second motor connected a second end of the drive shaft. The first and second motors are hydraulic motors and in a first configuration, the first and second motors are configured to cooperatively rotate the drive shaft with hydraulic fluid supplied to and removed from the first and second motors using a parallel fluidic connection. In a second configuration, only one of the motors has a drive gear and drives the drive shaft while the second motor does not have a drive gear and acts as a frictionless bearing supporting the drive shaft.
Connecting Arrangement for Connecting a Shaft to a Component
The invention relates to a connecting arrangement for connecting a shaft to a component. A tapered outer surface of an inner ring and a tapered inner surface of an outer ring are configured in a manner corresponding to each other. The outer ring surrounds the inner ring. A union nut surrounds the outer ring and the threaded piece. The union nut has an internal thread and the threaded piece has an external thread, wherein the internal and the external threads are configured in a manner corresponding to each other.
Arrangement comprising a hollow shaft, an input shaft and a clamping device
In the case of an arrangement with a hollow shaft, an input shaft partially contained in the hollow shaft, and a clamping device, the hollow shaft is connected to the input shaft by forces which are directed radially to the hollow shaft being introduced into the hollow shaft at at least three discrete introduction points arranged along a circumference of the hollow shaft.
