LINEAR ACTUATOR
Disclosed is a linear actuator, including a housing, a drive worm, a rotating screw and a drive nut. The drive worm drives the rotating screw to rotate. The rotating screw rotates to drive the drive nut to move axially along the rotating screw. A clutch means is arranged between the drive worm and the rotating screw. The clutch means includes a coupling gear sleeve axially movable relative to the rotating screw. The rotating screw is sleeved with an axial limiting sleeve. The axial limiting sleeve and the housing are abutted axially. The axial limiting sleeve and the rotating screw maintain alignment in an axial direction. When the rotating screw is subjected to an axial load, the rotating screw transmits axial force to the housing through the axial limiting sleeve, and the axial force is not transmitted between the coupling gear sleeve and the axial limiting sleeve in the axial direction.

Failsafe multimode clutch assemblies for rotorcraft
A failsafe multimode clutch assembly positioned in a powertrain of a rotorcraft. The clutch assembly includes a freewheeling having a driving mode in which torque applied to the input race is transferred to the output race and an overrunning mode in which torque applied to the output race is not transferred to the input race. A bypass assembly has an engaged position that couples the input and output races of the freewheeling unit. An actuator assembly uses pressurized lubricating oil to shift the bypass assembly between the engaged position and a disengaged position. A lock assembly enables and disables actuation of the bypass assembly. In the disengaged position, the overrunning mode of the freewheeling unit enables a unidirectional torque transfer mode of the clutch assembly. In the engaged position, the overrunning mode of the freewheeling unit is disabled such that the clutch assembly is configured for bidirectional torque transfer.

LOCKING MECHANISMS FOR TAIL ROTOR DRIVE DISCONNECT COUPLINGS
A locking mechanism for a driveshaft disconnect coupling includes an input jaw member defining a rotation axis, an output jaw member connectable to the input jaw member for common rotation with the input jaw member, and a cartridge assembly. The cartridge assembly is fixed to the input jaw member, includes a pin, and defines a pin movement axis. The pin is movable along the pin axis between a radially inner position and a radially outer position, the pin being disengaged from the output jaw member in the radially inner position and the pin being engaged to the output jaw member in the radially outer position.
OVERRUNNING, NON-FRICTION COUPLING AND CONTROL ASSEMBLY, ENGAGEABLE COUPLING ASSEMBLY AND LOCKING MEMBER FOR USE IN THE ASSEMBLIES
An overrunning, non-friction coupling and control assembly, an engageable coupling assembly and locking members for use in the assemblies are provided. A centroid or center of mass of at least one of the locking members is substantially centered on a pivot axis of the locking member so that the locking member is substantially centrifugally neutral or balanced thereby making the locking member easier to pivot between engaged and disengaged positions with respect to the coupling members of its corresponding assembly at high rotational speeds.
Quick disconnect system
A quick disconnect system includes a main shaft, a sprocket shaft mounted around the main shaft, a coupler configured to move relative to the main shaft and the sprocket shaft between a connected configuration wherein the coupler is configured to connect the main shaft to the sprocket shaft such that torque is transferred between the main shaft and the sprocket shaft, and a disconnected configuration wherein the main shaft is configured to rotate relative to the sprocket shaft, and a release button configured to be actuated to release the coupler from the connected configuration or the disconnected configuration.

Systems and methods for selectively rotationally fixing a pedaled drivetrain
A pedaled drivetrain includes a drive mechanism, a wheel, a freewheel hub, and a locking mechanism. The wheel has a rotational axis. The freewheel hub connects the drive mechanism to the wheel, and the freewheel hub transmits torque from the drive mechanism to the wheel in a first rotational direction around the rotational axis. The locking mechanism has a locked state and an unlocked state. The locked state rotationally fixes a component of the drive mechanism to the wheel relative to the rotational axis.
Clutch arrangement for a roadable aircraft
A clutch arrangement for between an engine and a propeller of a drivetrain of a roadable aircraft. The arrangement includes an engine shaft, a propeller shaft, a stationary clutch arrangement housing, and an engagement member which is rotationally locked to and axially slidable relative to propeller shaft. The engagement member includes a first engagement structure for engaging a corresponding engagement structure associated with the engine shaft for setting the clutch arrangement in a propeller propulsion mode, in which rotational propulsion torque is transmitted from the engine shaft to the propeller shaft via the engagement member. The engagement member further includes a second engagement structure for engaging a corresponding engagement structure associated with the clutch arrangement housing for setting the clutch arrangement in a propeller locked mode, in which the propeller shaft is rotationally locked to the clutch arrangement housing by means of the engagement member.
