Twin plate separation systems
A twin plate separation system, comprising a pressure plate, an intermediate plate facing the pressure plate, and a spring separator assembly. The spring separator assembly comprises a mounting extending out from the intermediate plate towards the pressure plate. A spring surrounds the mounting, and the spring is biased to push the pressure plate and the intermediate plate apart. The mounting or another fixture can secure at least one drive strap to the intermediate plate. Alternatively, the mounting extends out of the pressure plate towards the intermediate plate, and the spring surrounds the mounting and is biased to push the pressure plate and the intermediate plate apart. In this alternative, the intermediate plate does not comprise a hole for receiving the mounting.
Fast release mechanism for twin plate friction clutches
A fast release mechanism for a twin plate friction clutch including a biasing member positioned between the intermediate plate and the flywheel surface, and a retaining member for retaining the biasing member in place relative to the intermediate plate or flywheel surface during installation. In one embodiment, the fast release mechanism comprises a spring and a clip that retains the spring in place relative to the intermediate plate. When used with positioner pins extending through the intermediate plate, each clip may be U-shaped and includes a hole on its upper wall and a slot on its lower wall sized to receive the pin. The arms defining the slot extend partly over the end of the springs to keep the spring in place.

Power transmission device
A power transmission device includes a flywheel, a torque limiter unit, and a damper unit. The torque limiter unit includes first and second side plates and a friction plate. The first side plate is attached to the flywheel. The first side plate is disposed on a first axial side to the flywheel. The friction plate is disposed axially between the first side plate and the second side plate. The damper unit includes input rotational bodies, an output plate, and an elastic member. The output plate is disposed axially between the first side plate and the flywheel.
