DETECTING AIR IN A BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER AND BLEEDING THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER OF A HYDRAULIC POWER BRAKE SYSTEM
In order to detect air in a brake master cylinder within a hydraulic power brake system, a brake master cylinder pressure on actuation of the brake master cylinder is compared with a comparison pressure which prevails in the brake master cylinder when it is air-free. For bleeding, brake fluid is conveyed with a power brake pressure generator through the in this case non-actuated brake master cylinder into a pressureless brake fluid reservoir, where air escapes from the brake fluid.
Balanced piston clutch
A clutch assembly for a transmission of an agricultural work vehicle. The clutch assembly includes a housing, a clutch pack located within the housing, a piston chamber located within the housing, and a piston located within and slidable relative to the piston chamber. The piston is operably connected to the clutch pack for engaging and disengaging the clutch pack. The clutch assembly further includes a balance chamber that is located within the housing. The lower boundary wall of the balance chamber and the lower boundary wall of the piston chamber are radially separated from one another by a substantial distance.
Hydraulic unit for brake system
Provided is a hydraulic unit of a brake system including a housing; an oil supply part configured to supply oil to the housing; an oil discharge part configured to discharge the oil, supplied to the housing through the oil supply part, to the outside of the housing; and a piston movably mounted on the housing, and configured to open and close the oil supply part and the oil discharge part.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FOR A BRAKE RELEASE DEVICE, BRAKE RELEASE DEVICE WITH SUCH A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND BRAKE SYSTEM
A hydraulic system for a brake release device has a pump device, a tank, a valve assembly and at least one working port, where the working port is connectable to the tank or the pump device via the valve assembly. The pump device is switchable between an operating mode and a shutdown mode, where the valve assembly connects the working port to the tank in the shutdown mode and the valve assembly is only hydraulically operable. A brake release device having such a hydraulic system is also disclosed.
DEAERATION VALVE
A deaeration valve (1) for a hydraulic coupling, such as a hydraulic coupling for distributing torque in a vehicle, said valve (1) comprising a valve member (3) and a valve housing (2), the valve housing (2) supporting the valve member (3) for reciprocal movement between two closed end positions.
Brake bleeding screw and tool with quick-connect fittings
A tool for bleeding brakes includes a primary assembly, a quick-connect actuator assembly, and a nozzle fitting. The primary assembly has a hollow central shaft, a female quick-connect fitting, and a socket wrench at a distal end of the shaft. The quick-connect actuator assembly is in operates the female quick-connect fitting. The nozzle fitting is disposed at a proximal end of the central shaft, is in fluid communication with the socket wrench via the hollow central shaft, and is adapted to receive an end of a brake fluid waste line. The quick-connect fitting receives and retains the bleed screw such that the socket fits around a hex fitting on a bleed screw. The wrench loosens the bleed screw causing fluid to flow through the tool and out the nozzle fitting.
BRAKE BLEEDING SCREW AND TOOL WITH QUICK-CONNECT FITTINGS
A tool for bleeding brakes includes a primary assembly, a quick-connect actuator assembly, and a nozzle fitting. Caliper body and disc brake
This caliper body includes a cylinder portion (26) that has a piston disposed therein and is internally provided with a liquid pressure chamber, a bleeder boss portion (29) that communicates with the liquid pressure chamber and includes a bleeder hole configured to discharge air from the liquid pressure chamber, and a plurality of identifiers (112 and 116). At least one identifier (112) of the identifier (112 and 116) is formed in a region hidden by a bleeder plug (131) attached to the bleeder boss portion (29).
Brake bleeder wrench
A ratcheting brake bleeder wrench is provided which sealingly couples to a bleed valve. The brake bleeder wrench has an internal fluid passageway which allows egress of fluid from a hydraulic brake system. The ratcheting brake bleeder wrench is used to open the bleed valve, allowing egress of fluid, remains in place during the bleeding operation, and reverses direction upon completion of bleeding to tighten the bleed valve back into sealing relationship with the hydraulic brake system.
Brake bleeding device
Provided is a brake bleeding device for bleeding air accumulated in brake fluid inside a braking device provided in a vehicle. The brake bleeding device includes: a master cylinder constituting a part of the braking device and provided inside a front-side storage chamber, the master cylinder being configured to generate brake hydraulic pressure in accordance with a stroke of an input piston; a brake pedal unit provided inside the front-side storage chamber and configured to give pressing force in a stroke direction to the input piston when a link mechanism connected to the input piston via a rod is operated; and an operating lever attached to the link mechanism in a state where the link mechanism is operable by the operating lever. The operating lever extends downward to a position where the operating lever is accessible from outside the front-side storage chamber.
