SEQUENTIAL ELECTROMECHANICAL BRAKE WITH ADVANCED EMERGENCY TRIPPING

An electromechanical brake comprising mobile induced elements or sectors or frames (2), the number of mobile induced elements (2) or sectors being at least three, where one of the sectors acts faster than the rest, and where one of the sectors acts in a delayed manner with respect to the rest of the sectors in the case of an emergency, said time-delayed actuation being achieved by means of the antiparallel arrangement of a diode (6) on the coil (5) associated with said sector. Smooth and progressive stop is thus achieved in the case of an emergency.

Electrically actuated friction brake

To reduce the attainable actuation times of an electrically actuated friction brake and simultaneously keep the friction brake inexpensive, an electrically actuated friction brake with a brake pad (3) actuated by an actuation device (10) is proposed, wherein for braking the actuation device (10) is driven by a spring and is held open by an electrical actuator (12), so that the spring actuates the friction brake (1) in case of a power loss, wherein a first transmission element (5), that is connected to the brake pad (3), and a second transmission element (8) with an elevation curve (17) are provided and a coupling element (15) is provided on the first transmission element (5), wherein a follower element (14) is arranged on the coupling element (15) that follows the elevation curve (17) under the action of the spring for actuating the first transmission element (5).

Electric linear motion actuator and electric disk brake system

An electric linear motion actuator includes planetary rollers mounted between the radially inner surface of an outer ring member and the radially outer surface of a rotary shaft, and a carrier rotatable about the rotary shaft and including radially movable roller shafts rotatably supporting the respective planetary rollers. Elastic rings each having circumferentially separate ends are each wrapped around the roller shafts to radially inwardly bias the roller shafts, thereby bringing the respective planetary rollers into elastic contact with the radially outer surface of the rotary shaft. Each elastic ring is prevented from rotating relative to the roller shafts, thereby preventing one of the roller shafts from being axially aligned with the gap between the circumferential separate ends, causing the elastic ring to be radially compressed and thus making it impossible for the elastic rings to radially bias the roller shafts.
