Dispensing pump with locking structures and methods of using the same
A dispensing pump includes a spring assembly and a locking arrangement to prevent the dispensing head from being deployed and/or actuated during shipment, stocking and pre-purchase handling. The dispensing pump includes a pump base, and a dispensing head having a piston stem. The spring assembly includes a slotted tubular spring element and first and second loading cones received at opposing ends of the slotted tubular spring element. Various locking arrangements may include interacting rotatable lugs provided between the dispensing head and the pump base, snap beads to retain the piston and dispensing head in a secured shipping position, and recyclable locking rings disposed between the dispensing head and pump base which prevent an active dispensing head from being actuated.

A shock absorber has a first and second end surfaces opposite to each other in an axial direction, and a plurality of connection surfaces. The first end surface is an N-sided polygon (N is an integer of 3 or more and the second end surface is an M-sided polygon (M is an integer of 4 or more and more than N). (M−N) vertices are provided at intermediate positions in the axial direction on a circumferential surface defined by the plurality of connection surfaces. From the vertices, one first ridgeline reaches one vertex of the first end surface and two second ridgelines reach a corresponding one of two vertices of the second end surface. The remaining vertices are connected to each other by (2×N−M) third ridgelines. The first ridgeline, the second ridgelines, and the third ridgelines define the plurality of connection surfaces.

Block copolymer hydrogenate, resin composition, and various applications thereof
A block copolymer including a polymer block (A) containing more than 70 mol % of a unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound, and a polymer block (B) containing 30 mol % or more of a unit derived from a conjugated diene compound is provided. The block copolymer satisfies the conditions: (1): a content of the polymer block (A) in the block copolymer is 1 to 70% by mass; (2): a maximum width of a series of temperature regions where tan δ measured in accordance with JIS K7244-10 (2005), under conditions including a strain amount of 0.1%, a frequency of 1 a measurement temperature of −70 to 100° C., and a temperature rise rate of 3° C./min, is 1.0 or more is less than 16° C.; (3): a temperature at a peak position of tan δ in the condition (2) is 0° C. to +50° C.; and (4): a mobility parameter M indicating a mobility of the polymer block (B) is 0.01 to 0.25 sec.

SOLENOID VALVE SHOCK ABSORBER
In one embodiment, a fluid dynamics system includes a solenoid valve including a valve body including ports including an inlet and outlet port, and a valve cavity having a direction of elongation and configured to provide fluid connectivity between ones of the ports, a solenoid coil disposed around valve cavity, and a plunger including a permanent magnet, and configured to move back-and-forth along the direction of elongation between a first and a second position in the valve cavity selectively controlling the fluid connectivity between respective ones of the ports, the valve body including shock absorber(s) to soften striking of the plunger against the valve body in the direction of elongation, and a controller configured to apply at least one current to the solenoid coil to selectively move the plunger between the first and second position, and to selectively maintain the plunger in the first position and the second position.
Vehicular Motor Mount
A vehicular motor mount made of a motor mount assembly and a frame mount assembly made of four components: a base plate, a capture ring, a post and a bushing. The post mechanically connects directly to the engine mount bracket and the base plate directly connects to the subframe of the vehicle. The polymer bushing is bonded directly to the post. The concave capture ring is directly connected to the base plate forming a capture housing with a cavity wherein the post and bushing of the motor mount assembly are constrained but not directly connected to the base plate or capture ring of the frame mount assembly. With no direct connection between the two assemblies, the engine is not directly connected to the subframe. This improves vehicle's ride. The bushing and the capture ring are common to all vehicular motor mounts. The motor mount may be replaced in pieces rather than in its entirety.
Rubber composition, aging-resistant rubber product using the same
The present invention discloses a rubber composition, a processing method thereof, and an aging resistant rubber product using the rubber composition. The rubber composition comprises a rubber matrix and essential components, wherein, based on 100 parts by weight of the rubber matrix, the rubber matrix comprises a branched polyethylene with a content represented as A, in which 0<A≤100 parts, and an EPM and an EPDM with a content represented as B, in which 0≤B<100 parts; and the essential components comprise 1.5-10 parts of a crosslinking agent, 30-200 parts of a reinforcing filler, and 5-250 parts of a plasticizer. The rubber composition provided by present invention has good processability and can be used for producing rubber products with high aging resistance and compression set resistance.
