TORSIONAL-VIBRATION-REDUCING-DEVICE MANUFACTURING METHOD AND TORSIONAL-VIBRATION REDUCING DEVICE
A torsional-vibration-reducing-device manufacturing method includes: molding an input rotating member and an output rotating member through punching press machining and bending press machining performed on plate materials; performing heat treatment on the molded input rotating member and the molded output rotating member; and assembling a damper product that includes, as components, the input rotating member and the output rotating member on which heat treatment has been performed, and a coil spring. The molding includes drilling processing for forming a hole opened in an outer-diameter direction with respect to the center line of rotation, at a position of at least one rotating member of the input rotating member and the output rotating member, the position serving as a spring holding section for holding the coil spring. The method further include cleaning the damper product with a cleaning solution and removing the cleaning solution remaining after the cleaning.
Torsional Vibration Damper And Start-Up Element
A torsional vibration damper has an input, an output and an intermediate mass arranged therebetween, a first plurality of spring elements coupled between the input and the intermediate mass that form a first stage, a second plurality of spring elements coupled between the intermediate mass and the output that form a second stage of the torsional vibration damper, at least one damper mass to damp the vibration component of the rotational movement. The first stage of the torsional vibration damper has a progressive first characteristic with at least one transition point. The second stage of the torsional vibration damper has a progressive, second characteristic with at least one transition point. All of the transition points of the first characteristic and the second characteristic are spaced apart from one another with respect to torque.
Damper device
A damper device is disclosed. The damper device includes first and second rotary members, a plurality of elastic members, and a plurality of end seat members. The first rotary member includes a first engaging portion and an annular chamber filled with a viscous fluid in an interior thereof. The second rotary member includes a second engaging portion, and is rotatable relative to the first rotary member. The plurality of elastic members are aligned in a circumferential direction in the interior of the annular chamber, and elastically couple the first rotary member and the second rotary member in a rotational direction. Each of the plurality of end seat members is disposed between one of the plurality of elastic members and at least one of the first and second engaging portions. The each of the plurality of end seat members includes an end seat communicating groove penetrating therethrough in the circumferential direction.
Damper device
A damper device includes a first member, a second member, an elastic member and a supporting member. The first member has two wall members separated from each other. The supporting member includes projections (preventing portion) that make contact with one of two wall portions (wall members) so as to prevent the supporting member and an elastic member from being inclined (falling, rotationally moving) in the axial direction.
LOCK-UP DEVICE
A lock-up device includes a clutch part and a damper part. The clutch part is disposed between a front cover and a turbine, and transmits or blocks torque. The damper part transmits torque from the clutch part to the turbine, and absorbs torsional vibration. The damper part includes input and output members, elastic members, and a support member. The input member is connected to the clutch part. The output member is connected to the turbine. The elastic members connect the input and output members. The support member has a connecting part, a regulating part, and a stopper part. The regulating part is provided such that the output member is interposed axially between the regulating part and part of the input member. The stopper part is configured to contact the output member and prohibit the input and output members from rotating relative to each other by a predetermined angle or more.
