Damper apparatus
A damper apparatus according to an embodiment includes a pair of first plates, a second plate, an elastic member, a first friction material and a second friction material. The elastic member is configured to elastically deform in a circumferential direction of a rotation axis by a relative rotation between the pair of first plates and the second plate around the rotation axis. The first friction material is configured to generate a first friction torque in a case where the second plate rotates relative to the pair of first plates in a first direction from an initial state. The second friction material is configured to generate a second friction torque greater than the first friction torque in a case where the second plate rotates relative to the pair of first plates in a second direction which is opposite from the first direction from the initial state.
TORSIONAL VIBRATION DAMPER WITH A FRICTION PLATE
A torsional vibration damper, including: a hub supported for rotation around an axis of rotation; a first damper stage including a first damper flange non-rotatably connected to the hub and a first spring engaged with the first damper flange; a second damper stage including a second damper flange and a second spring, radially off-set from the first spring, and engaged with the second damper flange; and a friction control plate non-rotatably connected to the hub, free of contact with the first spring and free of contact with the second spring, and directly engaged with the second damper stage.
Dual mass flywheel
The dual mass flywheel comprises a spring assembly (4; 104; 112; 128; 129), if necessary, with two stages of which one can include a spiral spring. Furthermore, the dual mass flywheel comprises a friction damping system (111) that applies torque independently of the rotational speed of the flywheel.
Damper apparatus
A damper apparatus includes a damper portion including an elastic member to absorb a torque fluctuation by expansion and contraction of the elastic member in a circumferential direction of the damper portion, and a limiter portion connected to the damper portion to restrict a transmission of a torque which exceeds a predetermined value, the limiter portion including a first member and a second member being rotatable at a rotation center, a friction member sandwiched between the first member and the second member, and a third member connected to the first member, the third member including a spindle portion and a plate spring portion integrally formed with the spindle portion to press the first member and the second member in a state where the friction member is sandwiched between the first member and the second member.
