Engine balancing system
An engine balancing system includes an engine body. At least two slider-crank mechanisms are provided inside the engine body. One of the slider-crank mechanisms is arranged opposite to the other slider-crank mechanism. A slider in one of the slider-crank mechanisms is moved at a speed and acceleration similar to a speed and acceleration of a slider in the other slider-crank mechanism. The slider-crank mechanism includes a connecting rod and a crankshaft with a crank. One end of one of the slider-crank mechanisms and one end of the other slider-crank mechanism are connected to the same crankshaft through the crank. The balancing system can effectively eliminate first-order, second-order and higher-order vibrations generated during engine operation, thus reducing the probability of equipment damage.
Multiple cylinder engine
An internal combustion engine may include a first piston reciprocatingly disposed in a first cylinder, a combustion chamber fluidly coupled with the first cylinder, and an ignition source at least partially disposed within the combustion chamber. An intake valve may provide selective fluid communication between an intake system and the combustion chamber, and an exhaust valve may provide selective fluid communication between an exhaust system and the combustion chamber. A second piston may be reciprocatingly disposed within a second cylinder. A crankshaft may be coupled with the first piston and the second piston for rotational motion associated with reciprocating movement of the first piston and the second piston.
BALANCE DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A balance device for an internal combustion engine includes a crankshaft and a balance shaft. The crankshaft includes a CS eccentric weight. The balance shaft includes a BS eccentric weight. A CS connected point deviated from the CS main shaft, and a BS connected point deviated from the BS axial shaft are connected with a connection rod. A CS connection mechanism that enables relative rotation of the crankshaft and the connection rod is provided at the CS connected point. A BS connection mechanism that enables relative rotation of the balance shaft and the connection rod is provided at the BS connected point. A guide section guides a motion of the connection rod so that the balance shaft rotates in an opposite direction to the crankshaft.

Laser welded damper having enhanced fatigue performance
A damper for suppressing vibrations of a crankshaft of a vehicle is disclosed. The damper comprises a hub having a circular wall extending about a rotational axis to define a bore formed therethrough. The wall comprises a step portion radially extending therefrom and having a first arcuate portion formed thereon. The hub comprises a body portion radially extending from the wall to a lip to define an open cavity. The damper comprises a weld nugget disposed between the hub and the plate. The weld nugget has a root extending therethrough concurrent with the rotational axis to join the hub and the plate. The root has tip defining a profile such that the hollow channel is disposed at an angle tangent to the profile to lessen cracking due to stress.

Piston internal combustion engine with generator
A piston internal combustion engine with generator has two cylinders and cylinder heads and pistons with connecting rods and two crankshafts which are connected by gears with a ratio of 1:−1 (with opposite direction of rotation). The first crankshaft with the gear is mounted parallel to the second crankshaft with the second gear in one engine case such, that the gears engage. The first crankshaft is coupled to the first generator rotor and the second crankshaft is coupled to the second generator rotor or the flywheel. The moment of inertia of the first crankshaft assembly with the first gear and the first generator rotor is equal to the moment of inertia of the second crankshaft assembly with the second gear and the second generator rotor or flywheel. The cylinders with the pistons and are positioned perpendicularly to the plane of symmetry between the crankshafts, with the axes of the pair of cylinders lying in a plane with the both pistons being at the top dead center simultaneously.
Balanced rotary engine
A balanced rotary engine for applying torque to a drive shaft. The engine has an outer casing with a main drive case. A cylinder is rotably mounted in the casing and a piston is mounted to move longitudinally within the cylinder. Two connecting arms, each with a connecting end, one of the ends is connected to the piston, and two crankshafts, each one being rotably connected to the other connecting end of the connecting arms. Two drive wheels are contra-rotably connected to the respective first and second crankshafts. A fixed drive ring has a circumferentially disposed drive member surface. The fixed drive ring is mounted in the case so that the drive member surface faces the piston. The two drive wheels mesh with the drive ring.
