POWER TRANSMISSION SHAFT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A propeller shaft (1) that is a power transmission shaft has a shaft member (2) as a tubular body made of iron-based metal and a balance weight (3) made of iron-based metal and welded to an outer peripheral surface of this shaft member (2). At least a part of the balance weight (3) of the propeller shaft (1) is covered with a sacrificial metal coating (4) made of sacrificial corrosion prevention material that contains metal whose ionization tendency is higher than that of metal forming the shaft member (2). With this, it is possible to suppress local progression of corrosion at a periphery of the balance weight (3) and improve durability of the propeller shaft (1) .
Method and set of balance weights for balancing a rotor
The invention relates to a method and a set of balance weights for balancing a rotor particularly of a turbomachine, on which a plurality of balance weights, which are distributed over the periphery, can be arranged for balancing an imbalance. A set of balance weights, in particular plate-shaped weights, with a predetermined number of groups of balance weights, is used for balancing the rotor. Each of the balance weights of every group of balance weights has an identical weight that is assigned to this group and a shape assigned to this group, which differs in basic shape and/or thickness of the balance weights from the balance weights of the other groups.

An assembly for a hybrid drivetrain of a motor vehicle, having a first torque transmission device and a second torque transmission device connected thereto so as to transmit torque. The first torque transmission device is arranged to be axially spaced apart from the second torque transmission device and the second torque transmission device has a smaller radial extension than the first torque transmission device. An installation space for a drivetrain device is defined radially above the second torque transmission device such that said drivetrain device is delimited axially by the first torque transmission device. A spacer device is arranged between the two torque transmission devices in the torque transmission path for axial spacing and is designed such that an axially definable minimum spacing between the defined installation space and the first torque transmission device is maintained and has a balancing device for compensating for imbalance of the assembly.
Stamped wheel balancing weight
A wheel-balancing weight mounts to a wheel with a flange. The weight includes a body and a clip. The body is stamped by a punch to define a pocket within which an attaching portion of the clip resides. The defined pocket has a planar base and opposing side walls generally perpendicular to the base. The body as stamped by the punch includes a pre-stake for each side wall external to the pocket and adjacent the side wall, and an undercut for each side wall within the pocket and generally located at a juncture of the side wall and the base.
Apparatus and method for transport of balancing weights
Apparatus and a method for transporting and positioning of balancing weights connected together to form a chain of balancing weights is disclosed. A drive means comprises at least a transport wheel and/or a transport belt. The drive means has at least one cam to interface with a gap between two adjacent balancing weights of the chain of balancing weights. Furthermore a cutter may be provided for cutting of balancing weights from the chain.
