IN-LINE FOUR CYLINDER ENGINE

An offset in-line four cylinder engine has reduced vibration generated by a secondary inertia couple based on lateral pressures from pistons. A reference line passes through a shaft center of a crankshaft and is parallel or substantially parallel to cylinder axes of four cylinders as viewed in the axial direction of the crankshaft. As viewed in the axial direction of the crankshaft, the direction in which the reference line extends is referred to as first direction, and the direction perpendicular to the first direction is referred to as second direction. A distance between the shaft center of a first balancer shaft and the reference line as measured in the second direction is different from the distance between the shaft center of a second balancer shaft and the reference line as measured in the second direction, or a magnitude of a first unbalancing portion is different from a magnitude of the second unbalancing portion.

DEVICE FOR ATTENUATING ENERGY

These teachings relate to a device that includes a base having an axis that is centered and perpendicular relative to the base and two or more arms each connected to the base at a base hinge The base hinge rotates the two or more arms away from the axis, and one or more expandable bands are connected with distal ends of the two or more arms. The one or more expandable bands absorb energy from rotating of the two or more arms. The device absorbs energy when an external force is applied along the axis of the base.

A composite structure includes a thermoplastic material and axial fibers and radial fibers arranged within the thermoplastic material. The thermoplastic material can define a substructure of the composite structure. The fibers can be continuous and/or discontinuous fibers. The substructure can be a first substructure and the composite structure can further include a second substructure. Opposing ends of the first substructure and the second substructure are bonded with one another to form a tubular structure. The composite structure can exhibit enhanced damping characteristics such as having a damping coefficient greater than 0.5 lbf s/in. In some cases, this can limit vibrations of the tubular structure to less than 5.0 m/s2.

A vibration absorber for securely fixing to the housing of a gearbox includes an absorber mass having a first group of segments that are rotationally symmetrical to one another with respect to a rotational axis and/or central axis of the gearbox. The segments can be rigidly connected to one another. The vibration absorber can further include connectors that are rigidly connected to two segments each.

Anti-fall device

An embodiment of the present application discloses an anti-fall device including a trigger mechanism, a deformable structure and a shell. The deformable structure is connected with the trigger mechanism and is set to be compressed and elastically deformed when located in the shell. The trigger mechanism is set in the shell and is configured to drive the deformable structure to move in a direction away from the trigger mechanism, so that the deformable structure pops out of the shell and recovers to a natural state from a compressed state.

Support for household appliance, and household appliance

A support for household appliance comprises a hydraulic plate; a sheath connected with the hydraulic plate; a regulating support in the sheath; an accommodation chamber formed by the hydraulic plate, the sheath and the regulating support; and a flexible accommodation body, which accommodates a liquid medium and is arranged in the accommodation chamber. The flexible accommodation body extends and retracts to drive the regulating support to axially move in the sheath for leveling under action of pressure; and the sheath and/or the regulating support are/is provided with a guiding limiting mechanism for limiting the circumferential rotation of the regulating support relative to the sheath. A yielding part corresponding to the guiding limiting mechanism is formed in the hydraulic plate. The overall height of the support for household appliance is lowered, and the stability of shock absorption of the support for household appliance is improved.
